Take advantage of this private glamping tent on an acre between Gunnison and Almont, CO and forget trying to find a spot in nearby campgrounds or dispersed camp sites! The entrance is right off of highway 135, 8 miles north of Gunnison. Come down the driveway and take a right into the field. The tent is nestled against the cottonwoods far enough away from the main house for complete privacy. Relax on the property or use it as your adventure base camp. Less than a mile from Gunnison river access, National Forest access in hunting units 54 and 55. Not far from units 66 and 67. Almont is a 2 minute drive, Gunnison is about 10 minutes away and Crested Butte is about 20 minutes from the property. The queen size bed will be made (additional cots can be added with advance notice) and the kitchen has a two burner propane camp stove, tea pot, pots, pans, plates, bowls, cups, mugs, and utensils. It is stocked with drinking water, oil, S&P, coffee, tea, marshmallows and fresh eggs from our chickens will be provided daily. The tent is equipped with a wood burning stove and stocked with firewood. Additional firewood can be purchased. Kindling and fire starters are also available at no charge- let us do the hard work - you RELAX! Electricity is provided, so you can charge your phone or whatever else you need. Enjoy your private fire pit, chill in the rocking camping chairs, or walk across the field to the main house and enjoy the hot tub on the deck. You may spot our horse "Sassy" or some of our chickens roaming around. A porta potty is situated near (but not too near) the tent for your convenience. Towels and wash cloths are also provided.Relax, and soak up the incredible Gunnison valley views, in this glamping dream! Enjoy a 14' x 16' wall tent on an acre of land easily accessible from highway 135. Includes wood burning stove, propane camp stove, private fire pit and a comfy bed, WITHOUT driving around for hours looking for a camp spot! Use the firewood, stocked camp kitchen, & fresh eggs from our chickens! The tent is less than a mile from public access to the Gunnison River, and to to hunting Units 54 and 55. Near 66 and 67 as well! Soak in the hot tub or give Sassy (the horse) a head scratch. Cots available for additional guests at no additional charge - you will need to provide bedding for cots.

Our stay at Alicia's glamping tent was incredible. I don't think my fiance will ever normal camp with me again.. Ha They were both super nice and provided every possible thing you could want while camping. Including a smores kit and fresh chicken eggs. 11/10 will definitely stay here again when road tripping to/from Crested Butte.

Lovely little glamping setup. Wood stove kept us plenty warm, bed was comfy and there was plenty of cooking kit, what's not to love? Bonus - got to meet the hosts golden retriever and give him a pat :) Thanks!

Alicia’s communication was great from the minute that I booked. The place was easy to find, the tent was exactly what it looked like in the pictures. Clean and felt super safe too. She brought us fresh eggs and let us pet her dogs! Great stay their and nice to have electricity too

Great Glamp Option

We didn’t spend too much time at the campsite but it was conveniently located and the hosts were hospitable and friendly. Everything was clean and the hot tub was a great addition after a lot of hiking over the weekend. Would recommend!

Had a great experience camping here! The tent had everything you could need and the location was wonderful. We enjoyed swimming in the river and hiking in crested butte. The bed was extremely comfy! The host sent an arrival video a few days before our trip that included everything to expect, making the check in process super smooth! would definitely stay here again.

We had a wonderful stay! The bed was comfy and any amenity you could think of was made available to us. The camp chairs provided were very nice and we appreciated them since we were traveling without ours. The directions were clear and the property was nice.

Great tent

Tent was well set up and completely ready. The wood burning stove was great. Everything you needed for a great camping experience is right there. One of the best set ups I have seen. Traffic from the road is noticeable but didn’t take away from the experience for me.

Fun and Cosy Glamping Tent

Loved staying at Sarah’s place, the greeted us with fire starters and gave us a few instructions for the space. This was a very well stocked glamping tent, and had a ton of cute welcome touches! Even on a chilly night we were warm in the bed, they provided plenty of blankets and the stove provided good heat. Such a fun and memorable experience, great for weekends to Crested Butte or Gunnison. 10/10 stay, would definitely come back!
