I really enjoyed the uniqueness of this site. Also enjoyed the tour through the greenhouse and learning about herbs and other beneficial plants. It was a good value. Comfortable bed with convenient set up.

Mari’s space was the perfect mountain getaway if you’re a nature lover, but still like some access to typical creature comforts. It is far enough away from cities to have excellent visibility for star gazing, but close enough to nearby towns to have access to grocery stores and restaurants. It is also conveniently located for many hiking and nature destinations, or going into Colorado Springs, or other nearby towns for the day.
The space itself has everything you could possibly need, and the greenhouse, herb shop, and classroom are such unique features that we couldn’t get enough of. Mari is an exceptional host, and she has created the most comforting and inviting space.

There are no words to express how truly magical this stay was. Not only was it the most peaceful weekend ever, but the knowledge of Mari and Dave will stay with us forever. They are masters at what they do, and I only wish we lived closer because we would absolutely love to frequent here and just learn as much as humanly possible. If you are interested in herbology, even slightly, please book this stay and open yourself to the possibilities of our beautiful and bountiful planet.

Mari and Dave were incredible hosts! The space was so clean and inviting, we really felt right at home when we walked in. They brought us fresh picked strawberries from the greenhouse for us to snack on as we got settled in. My husband and I stayed here for our honeymoon and it truly was a slice of paradise. We made our dinner with herbs and veggies from the garden, which was such a fun experience. The big tub was just perfect, and the bed was so comfy! The view of the night sky from the front porch was unlike anything we had ever experienced! When we left, we got to learn so much from Mari. These two are just amazing people and we feel so lucky to have gotten a chance to stay with them in their lovely space! We absolutely will come back!

We had such a lovely stay here. Mari and David are such kind and generous people. The room was clean and equipped with everything we needs. Mari and David gave us a tour around the beautiful greenhouse and upon returning from dinner, we found fresh bowl of strawberries waiting by our door. We couldn’t have asked for a better way to spend our weekend getaway. Thank you to Mari and David for opening their home to us.
