Glamping Tipi and Luxury Bunkhouse
Peaceful unique experience
We had a wonderful family getaway at the ranch! The hot tub was so nice and secluded, away from all the light to see every star in the sky. Hanging on the porch enjoying the views was priceless. Being able to get to non busy hiking trails behind the house was a huge bonus. The tipi was a fun bonus to hang out in! We loved it and will be back!

Perfect Getaway
We had an absolutely amazing experience. Traveled there with our two teens - and had a very relaxing time. The stars at night are amazing in the hot tub. We explored the area -- and used it as home-base to explore Grand Lake, Steamboat Springs and Silverthorn (all easy drives). Make sure to ask the hosts about things to do (they had great ideas). The local coffee shop is amazing. Also check out the Kremmling's chamber Facebook - we found some local activities there too.

Glamping Tipi and Luxury Bunkhouse
Overall it was a really great place and a great stay. Unfortunately the hosts were out of town for a funeral but it didn’t take away from it all because they were a text message away. Here’s the only real complaints we had 1) advertised as an off leash ranch for dogs, it’s best if your dogs are off leash trained. They told us there was barbed wire around the fences. The main fences are just log fences with not a barbed wire fence but an electric fence surrounding it. Our 10 mo old puppy decided to go under the log fence and chase a bird Into the huge open space. We couldn’t tell who’s property we were on but the electric fence was scary being it has car jump start boxes attached to it and we had no idea about it or it’s strength and if either of the pups were going to be ok if they got too curious. 2. They advertise they have basic camping equipment such as grills, pans, utensils, this is definitely true but I’d suggest to bring a scraper for the grill as it was extremely dirty with nothing to scrape and clean it with. There were also 3 small propane tanks all of which were empty leaving us to run to Kum and Go for some microwaved burritos at 10 pm. 3. It’s REALLY dark. Walking back from the fire pit is a dark walk and with the poop on the ground and uneven terrain it definitely would be nice to have small lights on the ground to help guide the way back, but we used our cellphone flash lights. All in all we loved this place and will definitely be back. We enjoyed cooking breakfast over the fire every morning and of course smores. It was very clean, easy to access, fun, relaxing, and most importantly out pups loved every part of it! Thanks so much for letting us stay in your bunkhouse and hopefully the rain won’t prevent us from sleeping in the tipi next time.

Amazing Grand County Get Away!!
Our stay at the tipi and bunkhouse was simply incredible! John and Julie are kind, welcoming hosts with two sweet pups. John showed us around the beautifully decorated bunkhouse and teepee (like, Julie needs a show on HGTV!) and recommended some spots in and around town to check out. We stayed in the bunkhouse- shower with hot water! Heat, cooling, and screened windows! Comfy beds with nice linens!- and woke up refreshed. We will be back!

Want to Return soon!
We had a wonderful stay! The bunkhouse was well laid out and beautifully furnished. The bathroom was spacious, almost luxurious! Loved mornings and afternoons sitting on the patio and looking at the mountain vista while being entertained by two lovely labs, Boone and Crockett. Best of all was the tipi which exceeded our expectations. It was wonderfully furnished and quite romantic. John was a great host and we appreciated his offer to let our dog hang out with his two while we explored Rocky mountain National park, All in all an exceptional visit and we hope to return.

AMAZING!!! For those of us looking for the camping in the mountains experience but need a nice bathroom and a fan next to your bed this is perfect!!! You can get even closer to roughing it in the tipi! Make sure you bring bug spray the mosquitos can be thick in the evening before the sun goes down! The host was available and very helpful starting the campfire! He will hang out if you want or give you your privacy. Their house is just across the driveway but it still felt very private! The view is spectacular!!! We will be back!! See pics on IG #twodogranchcolorado
