This long weekend camping trip was absolutely worth the drive. Lorena, was welcoming and attentive. She reached out before our arrival, expressing her excitement and asking if we needed anything. When I mentioned needing a table, she not only provided one but also graciously delivered it to my campsite.
The campsite itself was breathtaking, offering picturesque views from sunset to sunrise. I even captured a timelapse of the sunset. The amenities were well-prepared, with drinking and washing water readily available, propane gas for grilling and cooking, and a convenient portable toilet.
We did encounter some friendly deer in the morning and felt safe thanks to the wires. This was a fantastic camping experience, and I highly recommend Lorena's campsite to anyone looking for a peaceful and scenic getaway.

Staying at Lo’s farm was a real treat! She and her partner/friends/doggos were very hospitable, kind and a joy to get to know. After a long road trip around the country, ending the journey at their beautiful farm was perfect. From fresh eggs to beautiful views to great hosts, our stay was great. I would highly recommend to fellow hipcampers.

The view at Lorena's site is amazing! The tent pad was great size and comfortable to sleep on. We were lucky enough to be staying during harvest; so there were fresh veggies available for purchase too. It was pretty close to the activities that we were doing in the Durango area.

Beautiful campsite! I was grateful to be surrounded by peaceful cows all night, too. I felt safe and taken care of, and it’s clear that the host is very intentional with all the amenities that were set up and available to me. I would highly recommend this place for those traveling.

Lorena’s land is beautiful. Lots of space to spread out. The sunsets are stunning and she had two big things of water and the portapotta is rustic but when you weren’t expecting one, it was a very pleasant surprise.
Also the farm fresh eggs were delicious and only $3 for half dozen. Lorena was a very gracious host- there if you need her but also gives you plenty of privacy. I’d book again.

My dog and I had a great time at Lorena's farm. This was my first time in the area and I was blown away by the views from the site. I kept my dog on a long lead and she had plenty of space to sniff and explore. The tent pad was pretty much exactly the right size for my 2 person tent. Loved the propane fire pit and fresh eggs as extra touches!

This was such a lovely spot to stay! Private, wonderful views! Everything we needed was available and the the propane fire pit was a bonus! (I recommend). Closer to Ignacio than Durango for groceries, and it really gave us the feel of more remote camping when we didn’t have the time to make it happen. A beautiful spot!

Lorena communicated well and was helpful with all of our questions. The campsite was private, at the back end of the property. It has a nice, level, campsite pad. It's conveniently located to explore the surrounding area. Recommended!

The tent site was amazing. It was peaceful, with some farm animals nearby that was a very cool touch. The host was very nice and accommodating for our three tents. Its has been my favorite campsite for our Colorado trip.

We loved this place as it was super private and perfectly isolated. The bathroom view is a nice plus. Lorena was very kind and gave us extra eggs when we had bought some - the eggs were beautiful and delicious! We would definitely stay again!

Great stay! Would highly recommend. We cooked breakfast on the grill with a great view. Appreciated the water jugs and access to a restroom. No problems here!

Hostess' warm greeting and timely communication really set an excellent vibe for my awesome, albeit short, visit. So quiet here, mix of pine woods, homestead-y, huge pasture and distant mountain view. I had my "go-to" campground in Durango but this one tops it on so many levels, and better price.

Easy to find, peaceful, clean, and thoughtfully designed. The gravel tent pad, hand washing station, and fresh water station were lovely touches. Lorena was kind enough to help out with a phone charge as well. Would certainly stay again and recommend to others.

Oh, the farm and mountain views from Lorena’s land! Upon arriving in this rural location, we were directed by the well-placed signs back to our camp. After setting up we took advantage of the gas grill and enjoyed sunset with dinner and wine. Our closest neighbors were a herd of cows and barely heard any other sounds all night long in this peaceful getaway.

Lorena was an excellent host. Easy to find your way to the campsites, privacy from the main house, easy to find bathroom, nice wash up area with drinking water. Only one other campsite on the property, so a sense of space. Beautiful views of the surrounding valley and mountains in the distance. Would definitely come back here!

Tent camping here was great! We had everything we needed with the grill, the water provided, and a nice flat place to pitch our tent. The area was beautiful and quiet, and I would recommend it to anyone looking for a place to stay. Easy drive from Durango and perfect location to explore the surrounding area for a great price!
