Learn more about this land: We have almost 40 acres of beautiful land that is scattered trees in a field and more forested areas. We also have mountain views depending on where you stay! We are right next door to the Pineries Open Space which is a 9 mile trail that you can hike, bike, or horse ride on. It also connects (by crossing a road) to Section 16 which is another 4 mile trail. You can bring your own horses and for a $50 fee we will set up corral panels for your horses to stay. We have farm animals that will be wondering about the land at times. We have water up at our home that you can use to fill up your campers with water or any water containers you need to fill. A camp bucket toilet will be available for campers use. At certain times we offer farm experiences at additional charges. There is a small corner store a couple of miles away, a local feed store where you can buy hay for tour horses, a little local coffee shop and small cafe as well. Come enjoy the country life just minutes from town! Because we also use our land to graze our animals, we ask that only one vehicle be parked at the site at a time. Easy communication and beautiful spot! The hosts were very helpful, and the site was lovely and felt very private to us.

It was very quiet, just what we wanted. Jenna and her husband were very helpful since it was our first trip with the camper. Our grandkids loved the Llama and the horses. They visited several times during our stay. We really enjoyed our week on Jenna's land.

With the smoke so bad in South Park, we changed plans at the last minute and boondocked at Jenna and Dan’s place. It was easy to find, easy to get to and the animals in the pasture made it a unique experience. A llama, some sheep, a horse and ponies basically kept to themselves (except for the llama who was friendly until our dog lunged and barked at him. He kept his distance after that as did the other animals, at least most of them. It was in the pitch dark of night that my husband went to get something out of the truck and was startled by the herd of horse and ponies who crept up to the trailer to check us out! Everyone got petted as they chomped grass around our mat. We were pleased our dog recognized a horse, which he has seen often, so he calmly stood and with a perplexed look on his face, tried to figure out what was going on. I had a vision of the horses laying on our mat when we got up the next morning. But, no. Anyhow, Dan couldn’t be nicer and more helpful and we were not able to meet Jenna. The park next door has some wonderful hiking. You’d really enjoy this Hipcamp experience.

Jenna and her family were incredible hosts! The property is beautiful and we really enjoyed the friendly farm animals. There is an adjoining open space with access from their property with great walking and biking trails. We’ll be back soon. Kevin & Lupe

Jenna was highly responsive during the booking process and during our stay. She was helpful in providing instructions about the property and the animals that live there. The horses and llama are super friendly and were really great to interact with! It has been really hot, but the property offers a lot of tree coverage and shade; not to mention that we got really lucky with all of the beautiful purple wildflowers! The port-a-potty on site was extremely clean...like, I've never been in one more immaculate. Trash was easy to dispose of. We had a GREAT time & will be back!

The host was very friendly and helpful. The area we were at was great! It had beautiful, tall pine trees every where, plenty of space to accommodate our family and all our tents. A great place to get back to nature and the way camping was, with no electricity, running water, or plumbing. The porta pot was a nice plus though and very well maintained. Want to get back to roughen it this is the place to go!!! P.S. They do have potable water available as well.

Jenna was very friendly! We found a great spot surrounded by trees and we couldn’t hear or see anyone else. Plenty of room for our tent and hammocks and a fire. There was a porter potty and water which was nice.

Beautiful location
Forest and Field! Horses welcome!
We were welcomed by Jenna, the host, right when we arrived. She showed us the beautiful land, and the vast options for setting up our tent. We loved that the space was so large, and we were able to set up camp and feel secluded. In the midst of the trees, we couldn’t see any other campers nearby, which made it feel like we had a forest to ourselves. Would highly recommend and would return!
