I made a reservation and wasn't able to get host to communicate with me by message or phone. Now waiting on hipcamp to contact host and haven't heard from them either. One hour into two hour trip I realized I needed to call host after first message wasn't returned and thats when I saw they didn't have a phone attached to hipcamp.

Camping on Linda's property was amazing! Gorgeous views, great stargazing, very quiet and nobody else in sight. Would definitely recommend.

Linda’s property is the perfect weekend adventure! She was quick to respond to every question and had the directions perfectly set. The campsite was a much needed retreat while still being able to explore some town sites near by

Linda's property was expansive and had great views of the nearby mountain range. Not very close to any cities, but the solitude was nice. The neighbors were friendly and offered help/advice and even some food! Linda was quick to respond to phone calls and her directions were helpful.

We loved our visit to your property! The views were amazing and the stars were gorgeous. I expect it’s windy pretty year-round. There’s not any shade to be had. And it’s a vista that’s wide open. Lots of cactus if you’re bringing dogs, the directions were clear and the area is beautiful. We adventured out quite a bit.

Overall it's was fun for a night. We didn't plan anything in the area and without any trees or shade it got very hot very quickly at our campsite.

Over all a great place ! Nothing much on the property but Mountain View was amazing! and was very peaceful. We Called host because we got kinda lost and she was very helpful and very nice ! I would recommend them using the piles of logs they have for some hammock post. Over all will be back here for our next adventure!

Loved camping here! Very isolated and spotty service, which was perfect for getting out of town for the weekend. Directions were very clear! It was a super windy weekend, so it was pretty hard to keep our tents staked down, but that's mother nature.

Gorgeous views! Heard some wildlife at night (coyotes), but we were prepared for that! Great instructions on how to get to the property. A little confused on where the outhouse was, but otherwise a beautiful spot to camp and enjoy nature. We brought long yard stakes for the dogs, but there was plenty of room for them to roam and be off leash. There is a sweet trio of dogs we became acquainted with, our dogs are friendly but if you have unfriendly dogs be mindful of that. Be prepared to bring a propane grill for food, as the wind never let up and there’s always a fire ban this time of year. Otherwise amazing stay!

Really enjoyed my time at this property! It is well off the beaten path, about 45 minutes into the hills beyond Cañon City. For Memorial Day weekend, I wasn’t surprised to find other neighbors camping on the land but it still felt beautifully isolated. There are some hiking paths nearby, the stars were amazing, and my dog loved all the wide open space (I had him on a long lead attached to a stake). No signs of dangerous wildlife, just lots of cattle and the neighbor’s horses and dogs. We unfortunately couldn’t have campfires due to the wind but there was evidence of them there in the past. The hosts were super nice and helpful at check-in. Would definitely recommend to a friend!

A good place if you want to be off the beaten path. Great views of the night sky and mountain ranges to the west. Quiet and peaceful.

I'll start by saying I did book my listing day of, so notice was a bit short. The site is pretty remote and the drive in had some of the most beautiful views I saw on my entire trip. When I arrived in the property there appeared to be another site near the house, tent was turned over and nobody in sight. I pulled up to the house as the listing said meet and greet with host on arrival. No people at the house either, but there was a dog that didn't seem too keen on us being there. I had sent the host a message about our expected arrival time but never heard back. We waited about 40 minutes while we prepared our equipment while the dog barked at us from a distance. Ended up leaving site as it was getting late to see if we could find an area in the neighboring BLM land as a back up plan. Returned to the property about an hour later after seeing a vehicle drive that direction, but still nobody but a barking dog. So we headed back to public land as a storm was approaching. We did end up finding a beautiful spot a couple miles away.

The hosts were very kind and the site was lovely. Isolated, off the beaten track, very dog friendly. It was just our group, so having no facilities was pretty easy with our portable toilet. If there were strangers there it may have been different. All in all, despite a bit of wind & rain it did, indeed, feel like a Faire Forrest.
