Your gateway to the Great Sand Dunes National Park on the grounds of an Estate Distillery! We are an old school campus that has turned into a world class potato packing plant, the capitol of North American quinoa, and Dune Valley Distillery. Surrounded by the fields in which the potatoes and quinoa are growing, there will be plenty of space with excellent views of the Sangre de Cristo mountains. The Distillery offers food, craft cocktails, events, and a little food market for quality groceries. We are also home to Carbone Wine, which attained the first liquour license in Colorado after the repeal of Prohibition in 1933. The Great Sand Dunes National Park is just 21 minutes away, the Colorado Gator Farm is 6 minutes, and Alamosa is 16 minutes.Sangre Camp 1 is a flat site next to an agricultural circle, an old football field and track, and an Estate Distillery. It will make an excellent base camp for landing or over-nighting while visiting the Great Sand Dunes, Zapata Falls, Gator Farm or the Distillery. We are excellent matches for large RVs as we have plenty of space. Water and an electric pedestal are available near the camp, and the bathrooms with shower are available in the distillery during our normal business hours Thursday-Saturday 2-8.

Sangre Camp 1 is a flat site next to an agricultural circle, an old football field and track, and an Estate Distillery. It will make an excellent base camp for landing or over-nighting while visiting the Great Sand Dunes, Zapata Falls, Gator Farm or the Distillery. We are excellent matches for large RVs as we have plenty of space. Water and an electric pedestal are available near the camp, and the bathrooms with shower are available in the distillery during our normal business hours Thursday-Saturday 2-8.

Sangre Camp 1

Nice rural spot with a smashing distillery right next door! They had a country band and dance on while we were there which was great fun. Doesn’t have all the amenities of a larger campground but would recommend for those looking for a quieter setting.

Sangre Camp 1

Good convenient spot close to Sand dunes. Unfortunately the listed available bathrooms did not have a clear description of where they were and the door required a code so we were unable to use it. The host eventually messaged the information over but we had to leave early to go find a bathroom in the morning.

Dave met us upon arrival and was very hospitable and knowledgeable about the area. We enjoyed a few drinks in the distillery! It was great.
