Situated on a beautiful meadow, enjoy solitude bliss on this 35-acre ranch with panoramic 360 degree mountain views. Perfectly located 15 minutes from either Buena Vista or Salida, This area is a recreational epicenter for whitewater rafting, hiking and fishing. Located just 2 hours 20 minutes from Denver. Immerse yourself in epic mountain views of towering peaks and sunny meadows at one of the best glamping campsites in Colorado. The campsite features a 12' x 14' canvas cabin tent built on a deck platform, with a cozy Queen bed, bar dining table, storage cabinet and convenient bucket toilet. The exterior space has a picnic table and 2 comfy Adirondack chairs for you to relax and take in the unreal views. Additional Guests are welcome to put a blow up mattress on the floor or set up another pop-up tent outside. The ranch is pet-friendly, we welcome your furry companions! Enjoy leisurely strolls on the ranch’s open, sunny meadows. The prime location is perfect for exploring all the world-class recreational opportunities of the Arkansas River Valley. The ranch also serves as a picturesque venue for events, including family reunions, corporate retreats, concerts and rustic weddings. However, please be aware that we do operate another rental site on the property. However, they are spaced out from one another. Even if there are other guests, you are more than welcome to explore the entire property, we just ask that you be respectful of other people’s areas and keep noise to a minimum so everyone can enjoy the solitude up there. The ranch is completely off the grid, without water or electricity. Because of the remote location, we operate this as “self service”. This means no cleaning fees, however, guests are required to bring their own bedding and drinking water. Additionally, guests will need to clean the rental and remove their trash before checking out. The tent sleeps 2 people in a queen size bed. Additional guests will either need to sleep on the floor of the tent or bring their own tent(s) to sleep outside near the tent. Because we're in bear country, we cannot provide a cooking stove or grill outside. Wood burning camp fires are not allowed. Please only use propane fire pit provided. Guests must bring their own propane for fire pit. It uses a 20lb propane bottle (the same bottle that connects to home BBQ grills). Cell service is usually available on the property, depending on carrier. Please take precautions for bears and mountain lions. Keep food in bear-proof containers or in your vehicle. Absolutely no firearms or shooting is allowed. Do not litter or leave cigarette butts. Please pick up pet waste since it can build up and bother future guests.

Situated on a beautiful ranch meadow, enjoy solitude bliss on this 35-acre ranch with panoramic 360 degree mountain views. Perfectly located 15 minutes from either Buena Vista or Salida, This area is a recreational epicenter for whitewater rafting, hiking and fishing. Located just 2 hours 20 minutes from Denver. Immerse yourself in epic mountain views of towering peaks and sunny meadows at one of the best glamping campsites in Colorado. The tiny house features 2 lofts with a queen bed in one loft and full bed in the other. There is a full kitchen with a hot plate, mini-fridge and small bar dining table. It also has radiant floor heat to keep the house nice, warm and cozy on those brisk nights. There is also a large couch/bed downstairs that can be used as a bed. This house is only has running water during the summer months (May-September) and there is no hot water. However, no matter the time of year, the toilet is not connected to water and is a bucket toilet that uses disposable “wag bags” that can be thrown in the trash. There is a shower but it’s only operational in the summer months, as mentioned above, and does not have hot water The exterior space has large deck with string lights and chairs to sit outside and enjoy the unreal views. The location was remarkably beautiful but the mice coming in and out of the field tent kept me up most of the night. Mouse droppings littered the floor in the morning, kept all food in the car and belongings on the table and bed.

I liked camping here, it was nice to have a mattress and enough room in the tent for our dog’s crate (he prefers it to our bed/sleeping bag). Only 20 minutes away from Salida (and Buena Vista), with excellent Mountain Views. The site description accurately matches in-person. Recommend!

The tent was very nice. There were string lights for the evening in the tent and the view from the deck was very beautiful! The property was pretty much an open field with views of the mountains. We had a wonderful time. No river or creek access.

Tent was perfect for my stay. Bed was comfortable. The views were unmatched. Sun, clouds, drizzle, sunny again. Moon was so bright it lit up the tent. I walked out to see if there was a street light on. It was the spectacular brightness of the moon. I was moonstruck. Highly recommend this site.

My husband, 2 dogs and I absolutely LOVED staying here to celebrate our one year anniversary! The views were incredible and the tent felt so cozy and comfortable. I can’t recommend staying here enough, we will definitely be back!

This is comfortable setup near Buena Vista. The tent and furniture were in great shape and the views of the peaks are outstanding. Jeff was an extremely responsive host. I recommend this site to travelers looking for a simple place to wind down with a simple fire and a comfy chair.
