This place was absolutely amazing! Josh was very accommodating with our last minute booking. The campsite was clean and the bell tent with 2 cots and a futon was super comfy! The propane fire pit, hammock, table with an umbrella and driving range were a lovely addition and the view was absolutely spectacular. Truly an A++ glamping experience! Highly recommended!!!

Incredible spot! Josh is very responsive. Propane fire pit at night. If you like hiking, there’s a great hiking trail on the property that takes you into the woods. Nothing beats the view where the tent is. I would recommend this spot to family and friends.

We absolutely loved this site. We had plenty of space, both inside the (incredibly weather-resistant) tent and throughout the site. While every know and then we would hear people at the other sites, we never saw them! Josh is super responsive and I'm grateful to have been able to explore his land a bit. You'll be treated to an incredible sunrise view at the site.

Love Josh’s campsite!!! Amazing views, lots of room to roam, and so peaceful. We’ve visited his land several times and always fully enjoy the peace and quiet. Josh is so great and wants you to have a good relaxing time. We plan on coming back forever!!! Thanks so much!!!

This camp site was prepared very thoughtfully and it made the trip very comfortable! Beautiful country, private campsite, gorgeous view right from the tent. We had no neighbors but even if we did, they were far enough off I don't think we would have felt crowded. From the cots with pads on top to the chairs to the bear rattle in the cave. We felt very safe, the road to the property had a locked gate. Josh responded to messages quickly, he was professional and kind! Excellent experience!

This was our first experience with Hipcamp, and I hope they all turn out like this. The views at the sites were amazing, and my sons had a blast playing at the driving range. Josh, the host, was friendly, responsive, and went out of his way to make sure we were comfortable. He kept things clean, and even offered suggestions on hikes. The sites were well maintained, and all offered shade, picnic tables, seating, and a propane fire pit. We got the chance to stay at both the Edge and Overlook sites, and drove down to check out the Bluffs. My kids enjoyed the Edge due to the proximity to the driving range, but the Overlook and Bluffs sites are more spacious and offer tents. The Bluffs site offers the most privacy, but all three are pretty secluded from each other. Each site offers amazing views of the surrounding landscape. My kids are already planning a return trip so they can goof around on the driving range.

Great host! Views were awesome and the accommodations provided made the stay much more pleasant and inviting! Would totally recommend this campsite. We really enjoyed the driving range, privacy, comfortable and clean yurt + outhouse and the ease with getting in and out. Stargazing at night is a must.

We had an awesome time! The views were great. Very secluded and easy to navigate to the site. Level tent ground and close to the outhouses. Our kids loved the little driving range and more importantly the adventure to find balls on the canyon side! Would totally return!

We loved the location, the view is truly breathtaking, Josh was there to greet us with golf balls for the "driving range", and to let us know if we needed anything; he was just call away.
It's primitive with a few luxuries.

And a gorgeous view that's so AMAZING.
The perfect place to unplug, relax, and create beautiful memories. We can't wait to go back!

We loved the yurt on Josh’s property. He is a very responsive host and the directions to the site were good and it is easy to get there. This beautiful site is just 2 hours south of Denver and the yurt is clean, comfortable, and sturdy. It is a great find and love that it is pet friendly. We’ll definitely go back again!

All I can say is WOW! I’ve stayed at a number of Hipcamp sites and this one was by far the absolute best view! My dog and I really enjoyed the peacefulness of the area, that it was only 15-30 minutes from a town and hiking trails, and had a nice view of Canyon City, Florence, even Pikes Peak in the distance. There are several outhouses available and Josh provided a hammock, chairs, picnic table, even a fire pit which I enjoyed in the morning. Since there were no other campers I checked out the other sites and they each had great views. The dirt road before the gate was just fine and their driveway was in excellent shape as well. I car camped and was able to position so I could lay in bed and enjoy the view, but there’s room for a few tents on a gravel area just next to the circle drive. Wildflowers are starting to bloom, just watch out for the cacti. Lots of birds including hummingbirds.

This campsite was awesome! We loved the big tent and comfy bed, and the gas fire was a nice treat when we couldn’t have a real fire. It was also super fun to hit the golf balls off the cliff!! We made a last minute decision to go to this site and I’m glad we did. :) half hour/forty five to the Royal Gorge.

My mother and I planned a quick getaway and this was the perfect spot. Having the tent already set up and the gas fire pit was awesome and the views were amazing. Josh was an excellent host and was very understanding when we had misinterpreted how long we had the site booked for. 10/10 would go again!

I went with my dog for 2 nights and we had a great time. Amazing views near the edge of a cliff and views for miles in all directions. Felt secluded and safe. The stars were great to gaze at night. I will definitely be back.
It was close enough to go into Cañon City and experience the tunnels and skyline drive.

We had a great time! Josh is super responsive, and the site is such that even though it rains you’ll have a good time since the yurt was large enough for 8 people to hang out comfortably. We’ll be back!

Josh has the coolest land and property and we are so thankful that he shared it with us. The tent was on the side of the cliff, but no worries when the wind and rain pick up, it is SOLID. We felt safe and dry and the kids had a blast. We are typically tent campers and love roughing it, so Josh’s campsites felt luxury! He had almost everything we needed and it was much less work than our usual trips. We feel very blessed to have gotten to camp there.

A private camping experience withoit having to set up your own tent! My children and I loved the campsite and the views. It rained heavily the second night of our trip, but we stayed dry as a bone. We had a wonderful time!
