I came up for a birthday camping trip with low temperatures in the single digits. The propane heaters in the cabin kept us toasty all night. There was a grill with utensils and gas and we had everything we need. It is right off the highway but feels far away. It was a cool little spot and we will be back!

The A frame and heater were everything we needed to make fall camping comfortable. The view was nice and we felt secluded while still not being too far out of the way. It was a great stay and I would go back!

GORGEOUS!!!
absolutely beautiful views, and the space heater kept us more than comfortable through the night- 12/10 would recommend and will absolutely be staying here again!! advice: a little bit scary getting up the drive after dark so take it slow!

Camping with dogs
We were traveling across the country and wanted a place that was not too far from the highway but had some space where we could walk our dogs. We have a sprinter camper van and this place worked out great. We were a little concerned about the access with snow on the ground but it worked out okay getting to the first spot. Seems like a great place to camp during the summer and fall but is a little sketchy once snow is on the access road.

Absolutely beautiful setting! Would be a great option for late spring or early fall camping. The cabin was clean with a nice outdoor picnic table. The games were an added bonus! The heater worked OK but it got very chilly at night. Would recommend warm sleeping gear for fall/winter camping.

Perfect shelter during snow storm
Rick was a great, flexible and responsive host. I was driving across country and needed a safe campground for my vehicle full of all my life's belongings. A snowstorm was going to hit the mountains the next morning so there was a big temp drop, I stayed warm in the A-frame with my gear and the propane heater provided. The heater was tricky to use but since I had reception I was able to look up the model and find out how to light the pilot. I was not able to light it again in the morning, which may have been due to the temp drop. The views are beautiful and the grill and seating provided would be nice to use during warmer weather. The port o potty is about a minute walk down the hill and while the A-frames are not remote, they are tucked behind trees so you are not in full view of your neighbors. Getting up to the camp site is a bitty spotty at night due to the sharp turns and lack of light, but if you see a lot of private property signs you are on the right path.
