Amazing host and gorgeous views!
We enjoyed an incredible stay on Chris’ property! 360 gorgeous views of wide open valley, mountains in the distance and practically impossible to miss sunrise or sunset. We watched a gorgeous moonrise by campfire. Chris was very hospitable and even joined us by the fire to share some of his incredible life stories. We were sad to leave so soon. Would definitely stay again! Highly recommend if you don’t mind camping without the frills.

All of the stars!
5 stars for sure! Chris was an incredible host and the spot was perfect. Everything was clean and well kept. Tons of privacy on the huge plot of land. Great views of the mountains and phenomenal star gazing. Can’t recommend enough!

This place is lovely; very remote and quiet, but safe! We camped here before going to the Sand Dunes and can’t recommend it enough! The night sky views are amazing. Chris and his friend were very friendly and gave us good recommendations for the rest of our trip.

Great first hipcamp experience!
Chris's campsite was amazing - huge space with great views, super quiet and peaceful, and listened to coyotes in the distance while we fell asleep. Chris was really easy to coordinate with, he met us at the entrance and drove us out to a space he picked out for us, and told us about the space and his plans with the site. Highly recommend!

Awesome place with and awesome host
This is honestly a great spot. A couple of friends and I booked this last minute and Chris was super nice and helpful. The location itself is beautiful, the mountains on the horizon and the stars in the night sky made this one of the best camping experiences I have ever had. It is only a 25-minute drive from the Sand Dunes National Park so it is really close. I highly recommend this place for any campers.
