Beautiful spot! Flat in most places! The mountains are stunning. A marker for the spot would be good. We were unsure if we were in the right spot at first. Otherwise, prime camping spot! We brought our 24’ RV. Cool cemetery near by behind the tree line of the property.

Gorgeous Location
Ryan’s Hipcamp is absolutely gorgeous. It is surrounded by Aspen-covered mountains and feels very secluded and peaceful. The space itself is very large and can easily accommodate multiple cars and multiple groups of people. Ryan was extremely helpful and always responded immediately to any questions. He also kept me updated on road conditions in and around Lake City before arriving. I will absolutely stay here again!

Scam Listing!!
Scam listing, don’t book here. There is no proper signs to find where the actual site is; which is necessary for a place with no signal, talked to some of the hosts neighbors who had no idea they even got a campsite approved here.

Great base off Engineer Pass
Fantastic spot right by Engineer Pass. Creek is on opposite side of the road, closeby. Warm and early sunrise in between the mountains. Good campfire setup and plenty of wood nearby.
