I found this camp at the last minute, while pulled over on the side of the road. It was awesome! The owner came and showed me around and advised me on working the hot shower. There.was a pond, total privacy, with everything I needed. It was lovely and I would definitely recommend staying at CampV!

We loved staying at CampV with our dogs. Such an incredible place. The lake was awesome, and it was fun to explore the grounds and take pictures of the art. Can't wait to return!

We loved tent camping at CampV. I would highly recommend to anyone looking to get off the grid and get explore the area. While there is WiFi and amenities like a shower, the best part is heading down to the river and soaking in the views.

Beautiful property. We had the campground to ourselves being it was the off season. Howard was very inviting road down from the top camp to welcome us and give us the lay of the land. All while the mosquitoes attacked him. They calmed down after an hour or so and it was lovely. The lake was amazing ( our dogs couldn’t get enough)to cool off and there were floaty toys to use. Nice job in the bus super cute if you forget your book don’t worry The art installations and the lounge tent were super cool. Town itself was great bike pizza shop gave my fiancé all he needed to find some trails. Hour drive to telluride which was beautiful. Thanks we will return and grab a cabin the next time

Cycling from CampV

I used a spot in HookUp Town for my small RV. Hookups were as expected. WiFi worked well. The Camp itself is scenic and reflects the mining history of the area but with some art and whimsy. My best measure is how little I have to drive once I'm there - is recreation (cycling, hiking, bird watching) available from Camp. In this case I cycled two out of three without driving. Great gravel (and road and mountain) cycling throughout the area. Fun to be a tourist in this area and explore by bike.

Fun hippie Hipcamp!

What a fun hippie Hipcamp! CampV was a great stop while traveling between Colorado and Utah. We rented an RV stop with electrical service. Very clean full bathroom with shower, a little coffee shop onsite, a band played on Friday night and they have really cool art installations all over the campground. They do also have cabins, several different kind of glamping tents and pod tents. Oh and across the street they have a wifi lounge with a pond where we spent one whole day. Definitely worth a stop!

A perfect place to relax!

Such a unique place - my favorite stop in our month-long cross country trip! Our cabin was so comfy and the grounds provided lots to explore. Only wish we could have stayed longer!

CampV Glamping Tent

Can’t wait to go back and spend more time. I was only there briefly and had no idea how special this place was when I booked. Helpful caretakers, fun art, and the stars at night were magic. I was solo but am already planning a group trip so that I can share this place with others. I’m terms of the camping itself. You will be mega comfortable. I stayed in a clamping tent and the temperature had dropped some that day. I arrived with a space heater already going in my space. The bathrooms were clean and close by with hot water which was a bonus after a long travel day. The check in cabin also had a few essentials in case you forget anything. I slept really soundly and could see this as a big bonus if you had adventures to get up to the next day.

The staff was very accommodating and informative on the area. This spot is great for boondocking or they have full hookup sites up above a the main property, and also has wifi if you need to check in once in a while. We were able to work from here for two days mid-week and had the place to ourselves. The grounds are nice to walk around with a totty in the evening and the sunsets are nice over the pond as well. You can set up on the pond or the river on the backside of the property newly developed. Great spot by Paradox Valley and Naturita, CO for a few day get away. Highly recommend.

Unique and beautiful camping

Camp V has beautifully designed cabins and unique environmental artwork. We made a special trip to stay there, but found it was too cold to camp this time of year so we upgraded to a cabin which was delightful and had everything we needed even a little fire pit out front. Thanks Camp V! Our puppy made friends with one of the manager’s dogs and had a blast also!

Perfect introvert getaway! Quiet spot in a lovely area. Not sure if it's always that serene....but was when we visited and loved it. The house had everything we needed, and the outdoor art walk at sunset is gorgeous.

Nature + Art = Awesome

CampV was an awesome place to stay. The hosts were super welcoming and warm, the location is perfect if you're wanting to be near Telluride, but not have the deal with the crazy prices / all the people. The cabin we had was perfect for us (4 adults + kid). The grounds are a great place to roam around with a beer in your hand, checking out all of the art. We'll definitely be back in the future.

Do not miss this spot! Incredible!

I have stayed at several different Hipcamp sites across the country and CampV is a must stay for anyone visiting Colorado! The cabins were super cozy and the decor was super cute and made it feel like a home away from home. The attention to detail was incredible! The kitchen had all the essentials, the bathroom was functional and the bed was super comfy. We were impressed with the artwork and the virtual reality element! What a cool concept! Take some time to walk the grounds and be prepared to take a ton of cool pictures. The host was super responsive, kind and even left us a cute Valentine’s Day treat! I highly, highly recommend this place to anyone!

This place was amazing!! It was only an hour fifteen from telluride and an hour and a half from Moab. It was GORGEOUS! The yurts are beautiful and decorated perfectly and had heat and a ton of fresh linens. There’s also an adorable pond with a raft and canoe up for grabs. We loved our stay! Definitely will be back

Our review is influenced by factors beyond the owners control- we arrived during a rain storm and the pandemic. The host was obviously kind and took good care of the site. They offered us the canvas tents (for no charge) but warned they were wet. We used our tent. I do wish the site was set up with camping platforms for tents instead of dirt because when it rains it’s a mud pit.
