Peaceful and quiet with amazing views. Property was private as well. Deer hanging out too Tricky getting our 29’ rv in because it’s at a 90 degree angle but smaller RVs would do just fine. Would definitely recommend and Jennifer was great.

Absolutely beautiful. The darkest skies you'll find in the area. Wide open field to the east for a beautiful sunrise through the Aspens. Trees are pretty close on the west, which is okay because the road is right there also, but there is not a lot of traffic, I think three trucks and four four side-by-sides went by all day, it is a private community after all. If you walk out into the field you can see North and South pretty good as well. I was there to start gaze so I did not walk around much, but the people that I did see were very nice. I did venture down to evergreen lake, be careful, it gets really, really steep, and there were lots of deer, I think I saw 20 deer in one day.

This was a beautiful spot! Although it was a community, the spacing was great and it felt secluded. We loved going around the area and the dogs loved when we found the lake! We saw elk and the mule deer would walk right through the site. Jennifer provided a lot of information and was very accommodating! We would def stay again! Went by the lodge one night for dinner and thoroughly enjoyed our stay!

Balsam Bliss
We loved our stay on the 1-acre full hookup lot close to Arrowhead Mountain Lodge. The site was level, private, and had everything we needed—water, sewer, and electric all worked great. Beautiful forest views and peaceful surroundings made it feel like a true mountain escape. We also saw a bear walk around the property. The lodge was a short drive away for music, food and drinks, and there were tons of off road trails nearby to Lake City and beyond. Limited cell service, but that just made it easier to unplug. Would definitely return!

What a wonderful, quiet, private site this was! We saw deer on the property daily. There was a nice open space for sun & solar. But there was also lots of shade. I highly recommend staying here.

We absolutely loved camping at Balsam Bliss! We camped in our 29 FT trailer and enjoyed views of the aspen trees and beautiful skies! Jennifer is super responsive, kind, and very helpful with answering questions. There is a common walking path behind the property where we were able to walk our dogs and stretch our legs. We didn't see anyone else on this path during our stay. We camped here over Memorial Day weekend and went to Arrowhead Lodge to watch the band play and mingle with the locals who were all so nice! Our 4 year old son loved exploring the campsite and searching for bugs. We also went fishing at Flint Lake and walked around Hazel Lake. We didn't want to leave! I would definitely recommend this lovely campsite to anyone looking for a peaceful retreat into the mountains!
