5.5 acres with views of Mt. Garfield and the Grand Mesa. Quiet and secluded feeling but close to wineries and restaurants! Our open field provides flat ground to camp or park. Surrounding areas have livestock that add to this farm feel. We as property owners live on the property and are here to help or provide directions or recommendations for tourist attractions.

We booked late in the evening and were accommodated, was peaceful and the donkeys and the goat sealed the deal. :)

Fantastic Camping Experience

Excellent stay on the farm! Katie came out to great us during the first day and we picked a site at the back of the property and had a fantastic time camping. Would absolutely recommend this to anyone and everyone!

Farmhouse Field Campsites

It was a nice stay, we needed a place to pull over for the night. The place was nice, peaceful, clean and safe. Katie and her family were very accommodating. Only thing is there was no toilet but we knew beforehand and used portable toilet pouch. For heavy use there is a petrol station nearby. Overall nice stay

Both Katie and her husband were very nice. The area we picked at the back right of the property offered a fantastic secluded area, the nearby property line has a stream running between the fences which created a great relaxing atmosphere.

the peachiest bunch

Camping at Katie's was terrific! As my crew only consisted of myself and another woman, it felt very safe as the campsite was fully gated. Our host Katie and Brian are communicative, welcoming, and made it a point to let them know if we needed anything. The campsite exceeded my expectations as I didn't expect anything from my host and I'm sure Katie would be more than happy to make accommodations if needed. During the evening, Brian and a family friend of his carted over firewood for us and stayed around to make sure our fire was adequate before leaving. What really took the cherry for us were the animals, two donkeys and a goat that were the absolute sweetest (we love Ginny, Jack, and Bobby love). I did not read the reviews for this prior to booking this campsite and can understand where some of the other reviewers were coming from in terms of noise from the train tracks, animal droppings, and hoping for better scenery aside from camping on Colorado prairie. None of these things really bothered us and we had a FANTASTIC time. 5/5 stars
