We had an amazing stay at Zen Ranch and Retreat! It was the perfect getaway for us as a couple. The property was peaceful, clean, safe, and very private, making it easy to relax and enjoy nature. The host was incredibly kind, welcoming, and made sure we had everything we needed. We truly felt at home from the moment we arrived. We highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a quiet and relaxing escape. we’ll definitely be back!

Mary’s Zen Ranch was MAGICAL! So magical in fact, that after looking at the photos and reviews before booking, I decided it would be the place I’d propose to my partner at. And wow, it was the perfect place for us. Besides the charm and amazing sunset views, the property you stay in is completely fenced in, so we were able to bring our two dogs with us and keep them off leash (something we never get to do while camping)! And since only one party stays at the property at a time, it’s an incredibly private experience. Mary was wonderful, helping to walk us through how everything worked right when we arrived, and then leaving us to ourselves until check out where she congratulated us on our engagement and wished us happy travels. We couldn’t have asked for a more eclectic and peaceful place to stay for 3 days, and if you’re big into camping and nature like we are, a proposal!! We celebrated with a spa day at Glen Ivy Hot Springs 30 minutes away, and I would highly recommend checking them out for a day of relaxation and wonder. We can’t thank Mary enough, and we will hopefully be back!

Zen Ranch And Retreat
This was my first time using Hipcamp and Mary's place was amazing! I was testing out car camping and it was the perfect spot for me to put the top down and sleep under the stars. It had all of the glamping amenities and was a super cute and quiet space. Mary was very helpful and kind and I loved meeting her animals as well! I will definitely be back the next time I pass through. Highly recommend!

We had a great experience camping at Mary’s Zen Ranch and retreat. Mary was a gracious host and showed us the camping area and its amenities. Mary also recommended some local hiking trails and other things to see and do in the area (CA Citris State Historical Park was fun and interesting!). Thanks Mary!

Zen Ranch And Retreat
Zen ranch was pretty dreamy. Nice night sky’s, quiet, peaceful, and the land is lovey. I stayed in my van so it was a nice middle ground between camping and glamping. The outdoor shower was super fun (I love outdoor showers in general). Also Mary is super sweet! A gracious host that has created a cozy vibe. I’ll definitely be back.

I had a fantastic stay at the Mary's Zen Retreat! I needed some time to myself, and that's exactly what I was able to get at her place. Thank you, Mary!! Everything was so naturally beautiful, the bunches of flowers spread throughout the property, spaces just to kick back and breath!! I will definitely be coming back for more peaceful, relaxing camping. Thank you again for being such a sweet and caring host!

The Zen camp was a comfortable and spacious place to stay. The covered kitchen station with sink and mini fridge included counter space for food prep and stools for dining, with an electric outlet. We appreciated these conveniences and extras like the outdoor hot shower and fresh herbs available to use from Mary's garden. The space was well lit throughout and furnished with plenty of chairs, tables and a hammock. A canopy provided much-needed shade. Mary was a great host and was always available to answer questions or resolve any issues that came up.

About the Host: Mary is a very conscientious host. She cares about her Hipcamper's experience. She checked in once a day but then gave you your space. About the property: Pictures do not do it justice. This is a self-contained property (fully fenced area that feels separate from the rest of her property) that has everything you need for a great camp trip. Here is a list of things this property offers. 1. There is an outdoor shower with hot water. 2. Multiple electrical outlets. 3. A nice 3-section bathroom area with a composting toilet, a sink with running water, and a private changing area. 3. A large open patio with a sail shade overhead. The patio has a fire place, chairs, and a covered countertop bar with a working fridge and other appliances available for use. 4. Two cleared areas (lanes) for a couple of cars, or a trailer, or multiple tents. 5. Finally she has an open area just outside the fence that accommodates larger RV's (i.e. 5th wheel trailer). It's not ready just yet, but is in phase 2 of her plans for this Hipcamp. All in all, I had a great experience at Mary's property. If you have a small group and would like to have a weekend getaway with all the essentials at your fingertips, this is the spot. And the best thing is the price. For everything you get, it is a totally reasonable price. I can't say enough good things about this Hipcamp. I know this sounds like a commercial for this place, but it really is a great spot for the price. See for yourself.

What a hidden gem! This really is one of the most spectacular Hipcamp properties I’ve ever stayed it. Mary was extremely accommodating and communicative and she has truly created a magical place! The property has a hot shower on site along with a compost toilet, running water, power outlets, fridge, propane grill, fire pit, fireplace, and hammock— not to mention a cozy tear drop camper available at a reasonable fee! My dog and I felt safe and comfortable, as the Zen Ranch is fully fenced in and cell service worked. WiFi is available, too! This is the perfect spot to have a weekend getaway or to even host a small retreat. Will definitely be back again!!!!

This place is really incredible, the photos are accurate, it’s tucked away enough that it feels very private, and still convenient if you wanted to head out for dinner. Beautiful facility, you don’t need to be self contained, because everything is there from the amazing outside shower, restroom area, outdoor kitchen, and awesome patio. And having a secure area for my dogs was perfect I was planning to tent camp, but was offered the use of a teardrop trailer to sleep in. The fire on the patio under the stars was just what I needed to relax. I’ll definitely be back again.

Amazing stay !! Lovely host and has everything described in listing, if not more :) peaceful night and secure place to sleep, lots of privacy too. Warm shower and fridge that works so bring a towel and snacks !!
