A cozy stand-alone cottage (sleeps 2) and a guest house (sleeps 10) are situated in the heart of our 20-acre working organic lemon and avocado ranch in Somis (Ventura County) on California’s Central Coast. Wake to birdsong over the citrus groves, sip coffee on the patio, swing in a hammock, or hike up the hill to catch panoramic views of the California countryside and big-sky sunsets. Breathe in the fresh, citrus-blossom–infused air as you wander through palms, pines, and eucalyptus groves. Walk up the hill to take in the beautiful sunset over the rolling farmland. Pick your own lemons and cook in your fully equipped kitchen. We’re super friendly to kids, pets, and guests with limited mobility. Whether you’re looking for a farm stay, romantic getaway, family reunion, friends’ retreat, small group gathering, or a quiet place for reflection and self-care, this is your peaceful escape. Charming, relaxing, and comfortable — guests can explore most of the 20-acre orchard and the gated community, with plenty of opportunities for scenic hikes and bike rides. Stay in a cute stand-alone cottage in Southern California countryside surrounded by 20 acres of organic lemon and avocado orchard. Go for long walks, enjoy avocado toast, make lemonade, eat oranges, grapefruit, and tangerines right off the tree. Breath in the fresh air, surrounded by palms, pines, and eucalyptus groves. Walk up the hill to take in the beautiful sunset on the rolling hills overlooking California farmland. Super friendly to kids, pets, elderly people with limited mobility. Gated community. 1 hour to LA and SB. In this cute cottage you will find one large room with a fully equipped kitchen (refrigerator, stove, dishwasher, microwave) and a bathroom with shower. Large outdoor space with table and chairs and lounge furniture. Charming, relaxing, and comfortable. One queen size bed. Washer and dryer available right outside. Perfect size for a single person or a couple. We know that people need to work remotely and high speed internet is a priority. We currently have 100Mbps service going to property and access point on the roof of the cottage. Farm stay, romantic getaway, or just a quiet place for reflection and self-care. Great summer getaway! Guests will be able to access most of the 20 acres of the orchard and the gated community. Lots of opportunities for beautiful hikes or bike rides. Owners live on the property.

The house sleeps up to 10 with 4 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, plus an additional full bath and half bath in the adjacent barn if needed for larger groups. Bright, airy home is great for kids and pets. Sway in a hammock, wander the orchard, harvest lemons or hike to the water tower for amazing views. Plenty of room to park a boat or a trailer. Zava Ranch is a tranquil getaway ideal for retreats, family reunions, friend vacations, and business trips.
