Between here and the park is Rainbow Pool, a well-known swimming hole that campers here often visit on their way back to the campground for a refreshing dip in the cool waters. Coulterville was started as a gold-rush town. You can visit the museum and visitor center even try your hand at panning for gold.

Really great! Very clean nice bathrooms and showers, lovely area and the manager there gave us a lot of information on the park.

Very Disappointed

We were very disappointed when we got there and found out how it was, we decided to go find somewhere else to stay. First off, this campsite is so close to homes, RV homes, and every site is so close to each other where you won'l feel any privacy. It feels like I am just in someones backyard. We have been camping everywhere and camping always feels like nature but this place, it's just feels weird. When I look at the reviews I couldn't imagine how so many likes it there I don't know but it feels we were scammed and deceived with how it was advertised. Sorry I don't do review like this but I felt like someone has to say honest review in here. I ended up just wasting our money there, because we have no choice you can't refund till you get there.

Yosemite Westlake Tent Site #4

Loved it

My friends and I had a wonderful time tent camping. Mac was so helpful, he recommended some sites to visit and we're so glad we did, it was a great trip. Would definitely recommend this spot, as its so close to Yosemite National Park. We loved our camp kitty that loved to hang out with us. On our way in we stopped at the Crazy Coyote Saloon in Coulterville and had a blast.

We loved this little site, it was about 30 minutes from the Park entrance, and had great amenities, and even some friendly cats that hung with us at night while we made dinner. Would def return :)

Great campground with a great host

This is a great campground with a great host. Our luggage got lost when flying into SFO. Mac received the FedEx shipment and stored it while we were hiking in Yosemite. He also had lots of recommendations for us. Thank you so much, Mac. However, you should be aware that it’s quite a distance to Yosemite Valley. The ride took us 90 minutes off season. That’s the only reason why we have mixed feelings about a recommendation to friends as they would most likely be visiting Yosemite.

Yosemite Westlake RV Site #7

Great campsite, beautiful location and easy to find! The area was quiet, and the bathrooms were clean, which we really appreciated. It was also super convenient to have a designated space for washing dishes. The staff were very friendly and helpful, making the experience even better. Would definitely stay here again!
