The yellow cabin was a perfect little getaway for my partner and I. It was only the 2 of us, but it could easily fit 4-5. The kitchen was conveniently located close to the cabin, and so was the restroom. We were so grateful to be able to roam the farm, checking out the garden, ponds, climbing trees, and the super friendly dog that popped in and out to say hello! Even got a symphony of frogs every night to put us to sleep. It's conveniently located next to the main road in Point Arena, so access to Hwy 1 was easy and we had cell service to be able to lookup some nearby hikes. Would definitely visit again (especially around this time of year, so lucky to have come during peak spring time). Thank you!

We absolutely loved our stay in the Yellow cabin on Jennifer's land. There's a clear sense of care and craftsmanship with every detail--a map of the farm, fresh firewood (and kindling and matches), dishes, lights in the shower building. We had a lovely time exploring the farm, drinking coffee in the morning, and stoking a fire in the stove at night. It's also a great location close to the center of Point Arena.

Clean, light-filled, cozy cabin on a small off-grid farm. We explored the beaches during the sunny moments and played games during the rainy moments. LOVED the large choir of frogs at night! The location is excellent, right off Hwy 1. The kitchen cabin had everything we needed in terms of pots/pans/colander/coffee equipment (BYOB-beans), and a mini-fridge. Take the ticks seriously - apparently they proliferate in the rainy season (?!?) and I had to stop by the [very gracious] hosts' house to get their help removing one from my back within 2 hours of arrival. This stopped us from exploring as much as we might have, so recommend bringing spray, and/or long tuckable shirts, long socks, etc. Recommend bringing camp chairs for the front deck - there's a bench, but you might want to reposition around the property.

We were able to book pretty last minute after rainy weather changed our plans. Cabin was very cute, land was too. We were joined by a surprise guest, a very sweet cat who hung out with us nearly the whole time we were there. Would definitely come again, it was a cozy place to hide away from the rain.

Windy Hollow Yellow Camping Cabin
The Yellow Cabin was a fantastic spot to stay in, exactly what I was looking for! Although it had all the delightful trappings of a remote cabin stay, very quiet, firewood furnace, cozy loft & cabin design, etc, it still had all the conveniences I could ask for, running water, electricity, and close to town.
I highly recommend for anyone, I hope to come again sometime in the future!

Stayed in the yellow cabin with my two best friends. Loved the entire experience. Given it was the off season a lot of places were closed so we had fun cooking in the cooking cabin. Loved the little hike to the shower and keeping the place warm with the wood stove. Very cozy, perfect and quiet. Also, loved the little sky light in the upper bed at night, could see the stars!

The cabin was perfect! The bed was super comfy and the fire was cozy. The windows look out to trees and birds you can hear while in bed, but still feels private and secluded. Far back from the road so no cars or other sounds heard. Kitchen was very usable, with two burners and plenty of pots/pans/dishes. Would definitely stay here again.

The location in Point Arena is excellent! So many beautiful seaside hiking trails! Very clean. Had a nice kitchen area for cooking. Cabin was cute and cozy. You'll need to walk about 300 feet over some bumpy ground to get to your cabin so be sure to get there before dark.

We had such a sweet time at Windy Hollow Farm. The accommodations were wonderful! Everything was very clean and well taken care of which made it really easy to just settle in. We enjoyed making meals in the kitchen cabin, taking a shower outdoors, walking on the land and cozying up by the wood stove in the cabin. Overall a great experience. Will love to stay here again!

Windy Hollow is a perfect mix of rustic beauty and cozy comfort. I enjoyed every moment of my solo glamping experience. Jennifer and her family have created a truly beautiful place by honoring the land with their extensive experience in environmental preservation. Staying here was much more special than at a hotel or a random camping spot. I will absolutely be back.

Directions to Windy Hollow Farm were superb! We stayed in the Yellow cabin. Upon arrival we found it very clean and the beds were super comfortable with flannel bottom sheet and flannel comforter that was just the right amount of warmth for the low 50's sleeping temperatures. Wood burning stove worked perfectly and they provided ample split logs and kindling/newpaper to get a fire started. Communal kitchen cabin was convenient and well stocked with utensils, plates, etc. Composting outhouse was surprisingly oder free and we always love a hot outdoor shower..... and don't miss hanging out with their dog Jack. He is a special character with incredibly beautiful eyes.

This trip was a dream! We were worried about how our three and one year-old would handle it and the campsite was easy to navigate the cabin was beyond clean and the kitchen had everything you needed. I regret not bringing coffee grounds because it would’ve been the best place to read my book in the morning and sit with a cup of Oh, it was Brown before we left because it was hot coffee. My husband and I are looking forward to booking again hopefully really soon. It

Private, quiet and peaceful. Everything I was looking for. Hosts were very responsive and extremely accommodating (helped out immediately when I locked myself out). Lots of great walks/hikes nearby. Highly recommend.

Nice cozy cabin just minutes from town. If you’re looking for an alternative to a traditional hotel this is the place. The wood stove kept me cozy through the night and the hosts provide the firewood. The hosts are quick/ responsive with communication and very friendly. 10/10 would recommend!

Windy Hollow Farm was a little slice of heaven. The yellow cabin was charmingly decorated, cozy, warm and spacious. The frogs outside in the pond created a wonderful ambiance. The property has a lot of interesting natural and man made elements and is very tranquil. My partner and I felt like we had a great deal of privacy and it was a perfect spot for a romantic getaway.

The yellow cabin is very sweet, perfect for a cozy visit to the coast. Our favorite part was the wood stove! We also appreciated the wonderful bed, great big windows, and rotating game table. Overall spacious and well-appointed. Low-key, private, and super dreamy. Thank you, Jennifer!

Windy Hollow Yellow Camping Cabin
Our family greatly enjoyed the yellow cabin! Very cozy yet bright with all the windows and stained glass. The wood stove kept us warm in the evening. It was our first time in Point Arena and a wonderful escape for the New Year. Jennifer is a great host and very responsive. We'd certainly stay here again.

We loved our stay at the Windy Hollow Farm cabins! The cabins are comfortable and private. The kitchen cabin has everything you need. The land is beautiful, as is the town, Point Arena. I didn’t have service the whole weekend (and I liked it).

This was our second stay (4 nights) in Jen & Ben’s Yellow Cabin and it never disappoints. We disconnected totally and the cabin is clean, cozy, and stocked with firewood and you will want a fire cause it’s soo cozy! We saw tree frogs, hawks, owls, foxes, deer, and sea lions at the oldest lighthouse on the W. Coast (take the tour!!), and Jen let me cut a bunch of lavender from her extensive garden. We had everything we needed but keep in mind the grocery stores close early and have cash to shop the road side farm stands too. The Saturday farmers market in Gualala (and the Markets Bbq Saturday’s) are worth the trip. Four days wasn’t enough time- we will definitely be back! Thank you to Logan for running sugar to us last minute!
