The ranch has been in the family since 1884. My wife is fifth generation. Wheat was grown in the same fields for a century. In 1900, wheat from those fields won the Gran Prix Gold Medal at the Paris Worlds Fair. We make whiskey from the wheat now.
There are barns built back in the 1860's, equipment and trucks from several generations of life on the ranch; history is preserved all around.
We have an oak tree that an arborist estimated is 600 years old. A creek that runs through the property (it held water last winter for the first time in years). The area has a rich and document history of Native Americans. Go for a hike in nearby Morgan Territory, which you can see from your tent, and read up on the history before you go.
