A Russian River Rustic and Very Private Retreat. This 1 1/2 acre Paradise that many of our friends call An Adult Disneyland is a magical place to visit. Each of our areas, whether for entertaining or residing, has its own theme and is decorated with care. Each of the listings has it's own private deck or patio and then you have access to all of the common areas on the property We promise you will feel like you are in the middle of nowhere, but you are minutes from everything. Lulu’s Landing and Captain Wack’s Cove is a pirate-themed Creekside hangout, where you can enjoy a fire, except during banned season. Also a great place to capture a glimpse of the numerous critters that cruise our creek. Foxes, Deer, Squirrels, Otters, Ducks and Herons as well as numerous songbirds that feed from our bird feeder. Lulu’s Lanai is a Flamingo-themed outdoor living room and dining area with fun vintage furniture and décor. The Take- A -Liki- Tiki Shower Shack is a great place to cool off and clean up after a day on the river or exploring tidepools at the coast. There is even a puppy bath station behind it for your furry friends! The Wack Shack is our outdoor bar and grill, full of fun, colorful lights and signs. There’s plenty of equipment to cook there: appliances, a BBQ, sink, fridge and walk-up bar. We also have several apple trees, a pear tree, and tons of blackberries when in season to share with our guest. Our Veggie Garden will be available next season to enjoy also. We are constantly improving our property so please stay in the finished designated guest areas only until we open up the coming attractions. There are plenty of sites and destinations within minutes from our home too! We have Tennis, Pickle Ball, and Basketball Courts around the corner. The Russian River/ Monte Rio public beach is a short walk past the Parks and Recreation Center, and they rent Kayaks and Canoes during the summer months. The Redwood Alliance camp is just a few miles up Bohemian Hwy if you dare to zip line through the redwood canopy forest or Armstrong woods in Guerneville for those that would rather keep their feet on the ground and take a hike to enjoy the majestic beauties. Duncan's Mill is a quaint town (less than 3 miles from us) on your way to Jenner by the Sea which is just about 9 miles to the west of us. You can take a gorgeous coastal drive to Bodega that is only 15 miles away. Historic Fort Ross is another beautiful 20 mile coastal drive. Bike Enthusiast love the back roads out here and the Biggest Attraction Is… Wait for it…. Wineries are everywhere! During the summer there are several Music Venues close by too. The Rio Nido Roadhouse has outdoor music on the weekends. Rockin the River is every other Thursday in Guerneville. The Monte Rio Variety Show just celebrated it 111th year to a sold-out crowd. Zac Brown, Steve Miller, Jimmy Buffet, James Taylor are just a few Headliners that have been here in the past. We have a great Lightwave coffee shop across the creek that is a quick 5 minute walk. There are several restaurants along the river as well as a small grocery store, movie theater, and a Homemade Ice Cream Parlor that are all close enough to walk to or drive. Guerneville is a quick 4 mile drive and has a Safeway and many restaurants and quaint shops too. Adults of 21 years or older only please. TOT#4440N

The Boathouse

Quirky · Sleeps 2
The Boat House overlooks the creek and is tucked away behind Gorgeous Clumping Bamboo and Bay and Redwood trees. It has been repurposed from an old shed destined for the dump and we turned it into something you would see on a bayou in Louisiana. It is a small open beam pine room with a fishing theme. The beautiful live edge redwood slab deck and counter is a great place to enjoy your coffee or wine and view all the wildlife that walks through our creek. We have squirrels, foxes, otters, ducks, and a large buck and several deer that drink from the creek and nibble on our lush vegetation. I have seen several pileated woodpeckers plus tons of song birds that love to eat from our wild bird feeder along with Blue Heron and Egrets that hunt in the creek for their fish dinner. AND our all-time favorite times of year is when the salmon and steel head spawn right in front of our landing. It is a sight to see them swim over the riffles and wiggle their tails in the gravel and lay their eggs. You are the only guests to have access to the Wack Shack for cooking and BBQ and doing your dishes. There is a small fridge, large stainless-steel sink, microwave, toaster oven, toaster, pancake griddle,  nuwave induction cooktop, and coffee maker. You are only guests to have the Take-A-Liki Shack for bathroom needs. You also have access to the other common areas such as Lulu's Landing where you can have a fire unless it is during the banned fire season and Lulu's Lanai too. We do supply bedding, pillows and towels. Guest are required to clean up after themselves in the common areas please. There is also a small electric fireplace that gives you heat on those chilly nights along with a heated mattress pad.

Cozy Cabin

Cabin · Sleeps 2
The Rustic Cabin is where you will be staying. It is in the very back of the property and you have your own private deck, patio, hot tub and sitting area under the Bay tree.  The Cabin sleeps 2 but you can also rent the boat house to provide another bed if you are a party of 4. You also have access and are welcome to use any of the common areas that are in the property photos.  The Cozy Cabin has been made from recycled, upcycled and repurposed items collected for several years from all over the area. The Walls were milled from fallen trees in the area. The live edges and chinking in between looks like a rustic cabin from the Old West. The bathroom has a gorgeous redwood burl that we pulled off the property and turned it into a hanging counter that holds a brightly colored glass sink in the shape of a giant leaf. There is an old glass door from a Dentist Office from the City that hangs on an industrial style barn door hanger. All the Granite in the kitchen and end tables was gifted to us and the double wide soaking tub as well.  Tons of fun décor are displayed on the 2 redwood slab shelves that are 3 inches thick and 10ft long that run along each side of the cabin living area. We supply all the bedding and towels along with robes and beach towels for hot tub use. A cozy electric fireplace with remote will help to keep you warm on the cooler fall nights and also a toasty heated mattress pad. A small fridge, coffee pot, microwave, toaster, small toaster oven, and a Nuwave Induction Stove top are available for you along with pots, pans plates, glasses and utensils.  The lighting is well thought out and can be dimmed for a Rustic Romantic night inside or out.  The cool double ceiling fan helps keep it cooler on those hot summer days and nights.  A family member gave us all their new windows that they decided not to install so there is plenty of light and the large Palladium window allows you a tree top view from the king size bed of one of the largest Bay trees I have ever seen. It is a beautiful backdrop all lit up at night as you soak in the hot tub on the patio or dine on the covered deck.
