We greatly enjoyed staying at Village Camp Truckee. The staff was super friendly. The campground is beautiful; well maintained, grassy dog parks, fabulous playground and clubhouse. Very family friendly. Close to Truckee & Donner. Also, a delicious breakfast on Saturday, prepared with love.

This site #93 was very small and no table as told. The people next door had their screened in patio right in front of where my door opened. We requested the site across from us and they moved us right away ! Thank you to the management, site 101 was great !!

The site was very clean and well maintained. It was also very spacious for an RV site. The host was very welcoming and helpful when it came to all of the activities that were happening over the weekend. Our site was towards the back of the park, so it was pretty quiet. We will definitely be planning another stay with a slightly larger group!

Very clean campground. Well kept and well organized. Sites were fairly close together but it remained quiet. The Friday night movie was great and an unexpected surprise. Then there was a free breakfast Saturday morning that was amazing. There was everything you could think of for breakfast!

I think more showers would be helpful as well as more restrooms, otherwise all was good. Perhaps dog owners should understand that dog barking is intrusive for other visitors especially late at night!

Great campground, we maintained - close to downtown Truckee with great restaurants, bars and shops. My only negative is that we were so close to the site next to us that we could have served coffee to them through the windows!

We actually got upgraded to a better spot than the originally booked spot at 79. Management was nice enough to provide us the available option to move to a quieter spot on the outer boundary (#107). This was our 1st stay with Village Camp and we were pleasantly surprised by its convenience, comforts and amenities for a RV Park. Really appreciated the cleanliness of the bathrooms/showers, the comfortable club house accessible to all and of course the service by the front office--all great! Will definitely stay again for our van stays in Truckee.

2 night stopover for us and our RV on a Cali roadtrip, all the services for hook up. We arrived late after a long drive from Yosemite, seamless late check-in with info on email, very nice helpful folk running the site, good showers, nice clubhouse, all tidy, clean and spacious, topped up our propane ..cant ask for anything more! Hope to stay longer next time. We used this site location close to Truckee for a day out (hour drive) to Lake Tahoe and Sugar Pine Point state park which was a beauty, nice swim and time on the beach, relaxing on our last day ..it was also convenient for the long drive back early morning to Fremont to return RV before flying back to UK

Near lots of cool Lake Tahoe spots! Our campground neighbors were all friendly, as was the staff! Recommend if needing some level ground to park your rig on near Lake Tahoe!

Perfect for a ski weekend

Very posh tiny home with ample room for 3 people and 2 cars. Heated floors were a nice luxurious surprise. Very close to downtown truckee and just a 25 min drive from palisades ski area.

Ok spot #131 very noisy, heard traffic on I-80 all the the ti e, sounded like wind blowing outside our rv. The trains, they come in groups of three during the night. Spaces very close like a KOA, wi-fi didn’t work & I went over my data because of the lack of signal. But the biggie for me is the falling pi e cones! Like bombs, came way too close to our heads, way too many times. The needles felt like lawn darts. So if that is your plan for a Tahoe get away, you might enjoy, I did not.

The location is nice, facilities are good. Reason for the rating: only 2 toilets with 2 showers for the entire camp, it is usually busy and difficult to use. Second, the principal approached us in a disrespectful way as we had part of our things outside of the RV as we were cleaning and putting things in order (asking for the same with good manners trying to understand what we were doing would be not only more effective but also more empathetic).

It was a wonderful stay. The cabin has everything, whether its tv, refrigerator, washer/dryer, dish washer, stove, hot water... lot to say. The cabin is very designed and it was very comfortable for 4 member family. We loved the stay and definitely come back again this winter. Lot of bike trails near by. 25 minutes drive from tahoe. We loved this placed.

Easy pull through location, and quiet in the back of the park. We did get rain which definitely creates more dirt in the trailer since these are dirt based spots in the back. Was a great stay and breakfast on Saturday in the clubhouse cannot be missed - it was awesome!!! Great people, great location!

Overall, a great campground, on asphalt. Could use a few more public toilets though. But the shower and toilet stalls are pretttyyyy fancy for a campground. Which was unexpected but a nice luxurious touch. But there was a line for the toilet every morning and they seem to do the bathroom cleaning every time I went to try to use it around 8am. Maybe a much earlier cleaning would help free up toilet times. Otherwise, power, water, and a black water drain was neat to have right at camp. I liked the dog park, too. And the woodsy forest feeling surrounding the park. 5 out of 5 would stay there again!

Incredible campsite. So quiet and clean. I know a lot of reviews mentioned the sites being close together, and they were I suppose, but not enough to bother me. The bathrooms were huge and very clean!
