True North Ranch #2
This place is a dream! We were happily greeted by Shauna, and she was happy to give us a tour of the property. I found it very special and authentic staying in a camper in the desert. The space is very cozy and has everything you need, from warm showers, cozy bed, to kitchen. Their space is full of life with alpacas, burros, a horse, rabbits, honey bees and chickens (fresh eggs people!) I would recommend this to anyone but especially the animals lovers! I would have loved to spend more time here!

My boyfriend and I had a great stay at true north ranch! Alex and Shawna were wonderful hosts. We were greeted, shown the ropes of the RV and local critters/saloons, and then embarked on a truly relaxing and adventurous weekend. Joshua tree is super convenient from the RV, but also removed enough to be off the beaten path. The RV is in tip top shape, with a very comfortable bed, a great stove we put to use (with fresh eggs from a few yards away), and an extra hot shower that made a day of climbing feel even more satisfying.
Waking up to watch the sunrise and say hi to the animals was one of my favorite parts. Alex and Shawna are kind souls that rescue animals - we met some of the coolest and sweetest alpacas, mini donkeys and Rio, a beautiful horse who reallly loves his apples. This was a home of beautiful happy people and animals, and we loved staying here. Thank you for everything!

Our stay at Alex's place was awesome! Her and Shawna were amazing hosts, very friendly and quick to reply.
The RV was a perfect place to spend our New Years holiday - very warm, comfortable and more spacious than we realized from the pictures. The setting is also nice and private and I managed to get some amazing sunrise shots.
The one thing I would advise is to bring a vehicle that can take a little rough paths. The way to Alex's spot was great and easily accesible but there are some roads that can get a little rough in the area.
