Lovely View, Cozy Night
We had SUCH a lovely time at Aaron's vineyard! It was very simple and easy, although it was a little pricey, it was SO worth the views we got and the privacy of the site. I will say, like other reviews have said, it would not be considered private if you do not want to be in someone's front yard, but in no way did we feel like we couldn't enjoy the space any way we pleased, and still have our own space. Would highly recommend this stay to anyone looking for a quiet getaway with a beautiful view and friendly, communicative hosts.

Hilltop Vineyard is lovely, and Aaron is a great host. The location is open, filled with birds, bright when the sun is out. A night we enjoyed the hooting of owls and chirping of crickets. Aaron was incredibly friendly and responsive to any questions we had.
There’s no hiking directly from Hilltop Vineyard, but lots of hiking within a 30 minute drive.

Soon to be a great spot (hopefully)
Hilltop Vineyard is exactly that. Deep in an amazing redwood forrest near-ish to Santa Cruz is this beautiful, small, and intimate vineyard. The Location was great, but the camp site is a work in progress. Unlike the photos with green grass everywhere, we arrived to a large dusty dirt patch with the marked spots for tents or cars. I realize work is being done to flatten the site, but it was a big contrast to photos. Also, only providing a hose for water and no toilet makes this place way too expensive.

It’s a beautiful spot with that fresh mountain air everyone loves. Close to the cute towns of Felton and Los Gatos, and the city of Santa Cruz. A nice jumping off point. We woke up to bunnies staring at us. The campsites are close together so it’s not really private but it is nice and attracts a chill crowd.
