The sound of the creek will take away all your stress. The swimming hole is beyond epic. They went above and beyond with fresh baked cookies and veggies from their garden! He even brought us extra ice and offered all the firewood we needed. I have a big dog and they even put there dog away so mine could be free! The horse is just walking around the property and is super nice. Thanks again for an amazing stay!🇺🇸

This campsite is in a really remote location with level ground that made setting up easy. The hosts were available, friendly, and helpful without being intrusive. We were honored to be welcomed into their beautiful private paradise.
The swimming hole was magical. Really beautiful and refreshing.
We had a hard time leaving and are already talking about booking another trip back.

I loved camping on Wayne’s property! It was beautiful to say the least. Wayne and his wife were more than welcoming, they brought us ziplock bags because we forgot some!! They brought us cookies and were amazing. For the property it’s beautiful, Wayne has an amazing creek with a beautiful view of the mountains. Very close to the Redwoods and high way 101!! I would stay there again!!

We really enjoy our stay in Wayne’s Property, especially the kids and also thank to his wife’s Delicious Chocolate chip cookies, the kids loves it. Wayne and his wife greeted us and give us instructions about our campsite when we arrived, location is very nice, it is surrounded with trees in the middle of the mountain, plus the swimming hole is a bonus. We will recommend the campsite to our friends and we will be back!!

We loved camping on Wayne's land, it was a fantastic experience and we are already planning another trip back! The swimming hole is fantastic, the camping spot is nice and flat, there are 2 bathrooms on the land, and the location is the perfect place for a relaxing getaway. Wayne is so kind and let us pick cherries from his tree, as well as raspberries from the bushes. Truly a beautiful and secluded spot. If you're thinking about booking, DO IT! You will not regret camping here.

Clear sky with stars, beautiful creek for a swim, & Wayne was awesome. The drive up & down the hill is scenic and not a problem if you go slowly. Great visit!

Amazing campsite. We had a great time here and enjoyed the swimming hole and all the amenities that Wayne provided. I didn’t get to meet Wayne since I arrived later but my friends who arrived first said he was super kind and welcoming. Would absolutely stay here again and recommend this site to all. Thank you Wayne for sharing your property with the community!

Had a great time! Wayne is a great host. When he finishes the camp bathroom/ shower this spot will be fully complete. Great spot to get away and enjoy the stars and peace in the forest. The swimming hole is absolutely rad. Nice deep spot to plunge in and there’s shallow area nearby to chill in the rocks. The dogs loved swimming down there maybe more than we did. Great fire pit and he provided wood for us. There is power at the site and he supplied an extension cord for our use as well. We met Coco the horse who wanders through the attached meadow and the ranch dog Cowboy. Had a great experience here and would definitely come back with friends. Great spot to spend the weekend exploring the area. We went to the Redwood National and State Parks. Saw a bear cub and a fawn on the drive back to Wayne’s. Superb weekend!

Wayne and his wife were super sweet and attentive. The land was beautiful and I made besties with a horse and a dog. The river was beautiful and the bathroom and drinking water was a luxury that us camping girls aren't used to! Wayne made sure after a down pour we had wood that would light even when wet and we felt super taken care of! So much fun and such a pretty area! 10/10

The great: Wayne is very accommodating and will talk at length about recommendations for local sites to see and routes to take. The swimming hole is absolutely beautiful. It's private and pristine with chairs, a table, and cooler provided by the host! Wayne is just getting started and this place has a lot of potential -- with some extras provided at the site as well. The resident horse is also very friendly. This is an exquisite spot for tent and van campers, or a smaller off-road friendly rig.
The less-than-great for big rigs: The 5 mile road into the site is not suitable for a big rig. It is a winding, single-lane road with unpaved areas and steep grades. It is so overgrown towards the end that your truck and trailer will receive what I call "Appalachian pin stripes" from the blackberry vines. Thankfully there's not much traffic, but I did run into 3vehicles coming the opposite way. For context I have a 28 ft bumper pull towed with a Chevy 2500. It gets narrower as you get closer. You will also want to have 4 wheel drive to get in/out of the entrance, it is steep and soft/sandy. I needed 4WD and I also scrapped the guards on the bottom of my rig coming out. Lastly, the conduit used to provide the hook ups is really meant to be buried, not unwound and re-wound the way it's currently set up according to my boyfriend (works in trades). It did fine for us. There's room for more than one rig, but there's only water/power hookups for one.
