The Secret Gardens is surrounded by lots of natural beauties that will open your heart. The spirit of the ocean, the wave, the mountains, the trees, the people and the fragrant of the roses, the beauties of our amazing Dahlias will take you to another world. No pictures can describe how beautiful this place and we hear that every time our guests step out of their cars. It is located about 2 minutes drive from the beach and the Monterey bay, about 12 miles away South of Santa Cruz. The beaches here are more peaceful and spread out as long as your eyes can see. We are 33 miles away from Monterey aquarium but you almost don't have to go anywhere when you are here. There are many things to do such as hiking at Land of Medicine Buddha or Forrest of Nisene Mark, Stroll around at Capitola Village, Have coffee and do awesome thrift shopping in downtown Aptos or in Soquel, Get some free foods from Free Food church on Wednesday evening (Yes, locally grown organic produce!), have a picnic on the cliff to watch the sunset, this town kind of remind you what's like to be in town without big boxes and franchise stores everywhere, life as its finest. This campground is also a great setting for your celebrations with two stages, a celebration area, a stone fired pizza oven and a sound systems (These are extras). We also have two sites for Private Group Camping for RV and Tent camping if you want to have a separate area away from anyone else. They can accommodate at least 15 people. Please check out those sites if you plan to come in a group. If you bring your dogs or children we have a trail for you to stroll around the property in a natural setting. We purposely do not a lot of pictures to keep this place mystical and a secret gem. We'd like to WOW you when you get here. We are so occupied so please do not ask us to send more pictures What to expect: - Access to fully stocked kitchen (except for the Private RV Group camping site): Propane powered grill and stove (commercial grade), refrigerators, freezer, pots, pans, utensils, kitchenware, dinnerware, basic spices and olive oil. - Hot showers and flushable toilettes - If you reserve a cabin, it comes with beddings (sheets, blankets, pillows) - A heater in your cabin What not to expect: - Towels - Free s'mores

This site is away from everyone but you can take a peek from the distance of the main campground. Surrounded by a lot of trees and plants. Bring your guitars and have your own small acoustic gathering among friends by the firepit. Bathroom and shower are on site, picnic table and a gas firepit. There is a little wooden structure that you can use to hang out.

Within 3 minutes you will be on the edge of the cliff overlook the Monterey Bay to catch a sunset or a sunrise. We are in a secluded private property with impressive landscaping and architecture. You are welcome to use all of the amenities we have to offer such as the communal kitchen with all cooking supplies and dinnerware, showers, bathrooms and firepit area. Browsing through our hiking trail is welcomed as well. There is an additional surcharge of $99 to use the shower and kitchen if you are using this site for tent camping instead. We'll collect the fee during the check in.

I call this camping on top of the World!!!This 6,000 sq ft site has the most beautiful view of the forest in a distance and the view to the campground. It has a hanging large deck (1100sq ft) area for firepit, lounge and dining table. It has its own clean bathroom, showers, outdoor sink and a barbeque area. We have everything here except for pots, pans, kitchenware and dinnerware so you have to bring those. I love this site and its perfect for group camping in a private setting. Woodchips ground. It can take five 36 ft trailer (with good drivers) or 8 small RV/Trailer with parking area. Its about $40/person/night. This site makes a great get together for a reunion/birthday/special celebration out in nature with great clean facility and amazing views!!! This is one of a kind spot.

We got so many request since we opened up this campground in July 2024 so we decided to give the opportunity to people or organizations to have their own private camping experience. This is for camping purposes only or to celebrate non wedding / live music/ live show events. Just simply low key getting together with friends and family. No outside guest is permitted without any permission from the host. This reservation doesnt include the RV sites and Site 2, however if you have RV or campers you can add that to your reservation as "EXTRA". Anyone more than 30 is part of the "Extra". We have multiple types of accomodations from tent sites, glamping tents to cabins. No towels service.

This cutest little wagon was once a crate for a bottling machine!. It was a diamond in a rough and here it is, transformed to an adorable little cabin. This cabin is next to RV spots and It has a full size bed with beddings, pillows, etc. Oh a heater too!!! So its cozy and warm inside. Its located close to the stage, kitchen and bathroom and the parking area.

Great Idea, Poor Execution”

The Tree House

My stay at this HipCamp was a complete letdown due to the host’s total lack of communication. Upon booking, I received a series of automated messages with basic instructions, but that was it—no personal interaction or follow-up. When I reached out with questions, I got zero response, leaving me to fend for myself. I’ve had other HipCamp experiences where I arrived at odd hours or got lost, and those hosts were responsive, guiding me or even meeting me to ensure I was settled. Here, the host’s reliance on automated messages and complete silence afterward made me feel abandoned and frustrated. The property being listed as "instant book" gave a false impression of accessibility, as there was no real support. I strongly advise against booking this place until the host steps up their communication game.

I hesitate writing a review purely out of selfishness because this is such a magical place and I’d hate to see it overrun or become impossible to book a spot. But it deserves to be seen and enjoyed by everyone! So much care, craftsmanship, and charm has gone into the design and layout of this place - honestly the one area for improvement I can think of would be to find better images for the listing that truly show off all the lovely details, rather than photos of nearby beaches… which really are just mere minutes away, but still… showcase YOUR magic, you guys! :) Both times I have stayed, I wanted nothing more than to stay on the campgrounds and just lounge the day away in one of the many seemingly hidden nooks carved into the sloping landscape. That’s saying a lot with all there is to do in the Santa Cruz area, including the aforementioned nearby beaches. I can’t wait to visit again!

Yeyen's land was so refreshing from the campgrounds I am accustomed to. We were greeted upon arrival. It was first solo trip for my son and I. They helped level up the 25' rig. I was grateful for that. The place is beautiful. Nice accommodations, lot of nice walking trails, amazing community kitchen, showers were so nice and very clean. Lovely, peaceful views and places to sit along the property. The construction and gardens were a delight. Everyone we encountered whether they were working there or visiting were friendly and kind. We had our Josie dog with us. She enjoyed all the walk abouts.

The Romantic Tea House

We had a wonderful time as a group of 8. This is a truly impressive property with lots of love and care all around. The kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed — just be sure to bring kitchen towels for drying dishes. Also recommend bringing eye masks as all the cabins have many windows/skylights w/o blackout curtains. Can’t wait to come back. An absolute gem.

Our family had a wonderful time RV camping at Secret Gardens. The layout is so thoughtfully detailed with beautiful plants and small white lights at night, and plenty of room to roam and explore for the kids. The kids loved the hammocks, dancing on the stage and roasting s'mores on the bonfire. I loved the private outdoor shower under the fresh blossoming jasmine vines. The staff were all so nice and welcoming, it was like a private paradise.
