I call this camping on top of the World!!!This 6,000 sq ft site has the most beautiful view of the forest in a distance and the view to the campground. It has a hanging large deck (1100sq ft) area for firepit, lounge and dining table. It has its own clean bathroom, showers, outdoor sink and a barbeque area. We have everything here except for pots, pans, kitchenware and dinnerware so you have to bring those. I love this site and its perfect for group camping in a private setting. Woodchips ground. It can take five 36 ft trailer (with good drivers) or 8 small RV/Trailer with parking area. Its about $40/person/night. This site makes a great get together for a reunion/birthday/special celebration out in nature with great clean facility and amazing views!!! This is one of a kind spot.

Alongside it, twin-size beds are tucked neatly into the room, ready for extra dreamers. For larger gatherings, additional twin beds with bedding can be added under “Extras,” or guests may bring along their own sleeping bags for a camp-style sleepover beneath the rafters. We got so many request since we opened up this campground in July 2024 so we decided to give the opportunity to people or organizations to have their own private camping experience. This is for camping purposes only or to celebrate non wedding / live music/ live show events. Just simply low key getting together with friends and family. No outside guest is permitted without any permission from the host. This reservation includes the RV sites 6 sites , Horseshoe , Cheshire Grove and the Queen's garden and Rabbit Hole area Cabins The tea house (4 people with 1 queen mattress and 2 folding beds) The boat house (6 people with 1 queen mattress, 4 folding beds) The log cabin (2 people max with one queen hanging/swing mattress) The hookah cabin (2 people max with one queen hanging/swing mattress) The Dormouse cabin (2 people max with one queen hanging/swing mattress) Dodo's Glamp (6 people max with one queen mattress and 4 folding bads) The King of heart's tree house - honey moon suite (2 people max with one queen mattress). The only one that has a toilet inside The Secret Wagon (2 people max with a Full size mattress) and there is a pocket listing called the Wave, a private sweet comfy space with a lawn area and a sheltered wooden platform where you can pitch a tent and an outdoor living room. Plus plenty of area to pitch tents Total of 7 bathrooms and 7 showers in this main campground This whole campsite can take up to 150 people in this 11 acres property.

You can’t put into words or pictures how wonderful this place is. It’s so amazing!!! If you book anywhere else, it’s a mistake. The property was so enchanting!! We had a surprise group camp trip here for my husbands 30th birthday & everyone (all very experienced campers) left saying it was the best campsite of their life. & we are already planning our return trip! So much effort and love and detail put into every inch of this absolutely stunning property. The owners came down and were so kind and easy going. Can’t wait to come back!!!

The hosts were awesome. Yeyen met us the day we checked in around 5p. We were a bit late coming in since we traveled from San Diego, but Yeyen was super friendly and accommodating. Her husband was super cool and told us about the property and made us comfortable and welcomed. The camp site we reserved was next to the communal kitchen and bathroom which made our stay even better. The other camp sites we saw felt very whimsical and fun, sobwe'll definitely reserve one of those spots bext time. In addition to a fridge, sink, large table, and bbq grill, they even had a flat top grill! I didn't have to use my pan and kitchen utensils. The camp site, bathrooms, and kitchen was clean and since it was a private property, we felt safe. Loved this place and will definitely visit again. Both Hosts even met us in the morning of check out to see us off and wish us safe travels. Love them!

The views/property was beautiful and the efficient campsite was set up with power, a table with two chairs, fire pit and wood chip base. The host was kind enough to bring us a battery powered light as well. Neighbors on both sides were quiet and respectful. Bathrooms and showers were plenty and a short walk away. No words for how much care and love have been poured into this property. It’s 11 acres of pure magic in every nook and cranny. There was an event being held there during our stay which we were kindly invited to and did not cause much disturbance. I wish we could have explored more, but the evening daylight is pretty limited now given the time of year. Would definitely return!

Boat House @ Chessboard Land

I’ve stayed at plenty of campgrounds, but I’ve never seen one so beautifully kept. It’s immediately obvious how much love and care goes into this place. This is glamping at its finest — the communal area alone is worth the trip. There’s a massive, fully equipped kitchen, multiple firepits perfect for evening hangs, and even a big screen projector for cozy movie nights under the stars. What truly sets The Secret Gardens apart, though, are the hosts — Farbod and Yeyen. I’ve never met more hospitable, generous, and genuinely kind hosts in my life. They made the entire stay unforgettable with their warmth and thoughtfulness. If you’re looking for a magical, comfortable, and welcoming retreat in nature, this is the spot. I couldn’t recommend it more highly. 🌲✨

There is so much love poured into the spaces at the secret garden. It is a wonderful place for family and friends to gather and for new friends to be made. We loved the outdoor kitchen, the fire pit, the gardens and all the cool areas to hangout and enjoy.

It was such a magical experience staying at the secret gardens. When walking around the property, you just keep finding more and more magical spots that are so wonderful. There was a lot of attention to detail, creating a comfortable and welcoming space for solitude or community, which ever you are in the mood for. I really enjoyed my time there and look forward to coming back!

Wonderland's Horseshoe Private Site

I’m speechless for how amazing and tranquil this site is. The waterfall was not only nourishing to the soul but it also brought zen and peace. This site fully encompasses everything needed for a getaway. Kitchenette, shower, toilet, tables/chairs and a great fire pit. 🌟✨💕 I’ve never experienced a better campground and the hosts are simply amazing!! Wonderful people and so accommodating and kind. I’m so grateful to have found this escape and I can’t wait to be back! Thank you Farbod and Yeyen. 🦋

A true fairyland

Boat House @ Chessboard Land

Farbod & his wife Yeyen have created a fairy oasis, big enough to host over a 100 campers their original vision was to create a family camp. Now they have terraced the land and it can comfortably host even the most picky of glampers. Farbod's hospitality is evident in how he offered me water, lit a fire pit and then treated me to dinner! A successful professional roofer, this extensive property is clearly his creative outlet. He has built everything with such intentionality yet continuities to build on a whim. The amenities like warm water showers, baths & sinks, toilets make this a glamping paradise. Yeyen showed me around leaving me with wild picked blueberries from the garden, fresh cut flowers and immune boosting juices from her company! This may be the most extensive HipCamp i've experienced in the states with the most loving and generous hosts. I left with new friends after my short night with them. I would recommend staying at least 2-3 nights to really linger in what the land has to offer.

Yeyen and Farbod’s property feels like something pulled straight out of a fairytale. From the moment you arrive, you can sense the care and imagination that has gone into creating a space that’s both magical and welcoming. The setting is lush, layered, and full of charm—it’s truly above and beyond incredible. One of the most impressive features is the outdoor kitchen. This isn’t just a grill setup—it’s a fully stocked culinary haven that even a professional chef would be thrilled with. Every tool, pan, and surface you might need is there, making it easy to execute anything from a simple breakfast to a gourmet dinner. Cooking in that space is a serious treat. The property is essentially a big hill, guests should come prepared. It’s probably not the best fit for those with limited mobility. While there is an ocean view from the very top of the property, it’s partly blocked by hills. You’ll see water but won’t see the shoreline or waves directly. For campers considering Tugley Wood, note that the sites are close to the road. It’s convenient, but you will definitely hear traffic from passing cars. All in all, this property is enchanting and unforgettable—a unique blend of storybook magic and thoughtful design that makes for a one-of-a-kind stay.

Such a magical place.

The King of Hearts Tree House

The place is super special. The host were beyond wonderful. We thoroughly enjoyed being here and will definitely be back. One thing to note specifically about the tree house... there are no windows coverings, so I felt really exposed when changing our using the toilet, which has just a pony wall for privacy. There is also road noise, which was noticeably when you're trying to sleep. I would stay in a different spot next time.

Mad Hatter Hideaway @ Wonderland

Wow, wow & wow! This campsite was not what we were expecting in the best way! Each part of the property is magical thanks to the unique design. The woodworking around the property is truly impressive! I can't say enough good thing about this space. When we arrived, we were offered fresh pressed watermelon juice. Walking around the property was an activity within itself. There was a movie for the kids, the shared kitchen was incredible & we even had a great breakfast in the morning. The location was fantastic & close to Santa Cruz. We cannot wait to come back! The best part is there isn't a bunch of influencers that have ruined this place!!! Truly special. No photos needed!

A magical and unexpected experience

It’s truly impossible to explain what a magical and spectacular place this is so I won’t try. From the moment we arrived we felt like we were in a sacred place that reflects the beauty and warmth of the owners Farbod and Yeyen. Everything you could possibly want from a camping experience is yours to experience. We cannot wait to return. We had our travel trailer and stayed in the lower part of the property which is immaculate. But we walked the entire property a few times and just discovered such inviting and stunning spaces to sit and take it all in. I would gladly stay in any of the accommodations - they are just really special and unique.
