Peaceful Retreat Beneath the Stars
10 m fifth wheel · With pets · We arrived at the Ranch later in the afternoon, and navigating the large fifth-wheel trailer onto the property proved a bit challenging. The turn into the entrance is somewhat tight, and entering the gate code would have temporarily blocked the street—something to keep in mind for future guests.
The property itself is stunning—peaceful, scenic, and beautifully maintained. Unfortunately, due to our late arrival and early departure the next morning, we didn’t have the opportunity to explore the common areas.
It was a real treat to let the dogs roam freely after a long day on the road. They thoroughly enjoyed the open space, though it’s worth noting that there are some foxtails and burrs around, which can easily get caught in their coats—something to be mindful of.
The sunset was absolutely breathtaking. There was a gathering at a neighboring facility that evening, and while we could hear their music softly in the distance, it added a pleasant, festive undertone to the quiet night. Later, the sound of coyotes calling under the stars brought a touch of wild charm, followed by roosters crowing at dawn—a true country experience.
Though our stay was brief and we didn’t have the chance to meet Matt, we thoroughly appreciated the serene atmosphere and would gladly return for a longer visit in the future.
