The Painted Tents
Jeremy is very helpful and accommodating. His campsite is wonderful, private and has easy access to the lake. The livestock, including the two dogs are an added treat! We’ll definitely come back.

The Lake View Tree House
Jeremy is an incredibly gracious host. He shared his lamb and eggs, let us borrow items we forgot to bring, and showed us how to start the grill when we were having trouble. We spent a lot of time just admiring the incredible view! We came with a child and she loved all of the animals (especially the sweet dogs) and the adventure of gathering eggs. The only downside was we came on a week with highs close to 100 degrees, which made the hike back and forth to the lake a bit brutal. Ventilation in the cabin isn’t great, so I would suggest bringing some sleeping mats for the patio if you come when it is hot, because it was pretty comfortable outside. It’s also a great location for stargazing.

The Lake View Tree House
We loved Jeremy’s property and our stay! The treehouse felt like the perfect balance of accommodation without taking away from the natural feel. The animals were all great and we got great use out of all the amenities! Jeremy is very nice and responsive. He took the time to have several conversations with us, and as soon as the gas ran out of the grille and griddle, Jeremy was super quick to come refill it for us! My only gripes are that 1. Although it’s advertised as a fully functional bathroom, it is really a wooden room with a shower head and a little trash can to go to the bathroom. It honestly would’ve been better to just shit in the woods lol. 2, the mere 1/4 mile hike to the kayaks is at a nice ~75% incline. We had no problem with this but it would’ve been nice to know that the hike back from the lake is a little strenuous. Definitley not fit for anyone with joint issues or bad cardio. Other than that we had a lifetime experience and recommend to all!

This is my FAVORITE PLACE, honestly- I keep Wanting to come back time and time again! I have Made my own little relationships with the dogs, goats and horses on the property! The hospitality and genuine love that the hosts have for their piece of heaven and to share it has been so amazing I will continue to come back as often as I can.

The Lake View Tree House
A magical retreat
I absolutely loved every minute of my trip! I had planned on visiting with my family, but they were unable to join at the last minute. I had a great time anyway! Jeremy and the family are delightful as are the amazing animals. I had a fabulous time kayaking and hiking around the property. This is a magical spot for a family or a solo retreat and I will surely be back.
