Cabin · Sleeps 4This is a very basic, very rustic cabin. Cabin is furnished with a full bed, sheets, pillows, comforter. Also, chairs, table, desk, and nightstand. Cabin has electrical power, interior and exterior lights, desk lamp and outlets.
Cabin has a heater for use during the colder months, and a fan during the summer and many screened windows that open and close.
The restrooms are a short, well-lit walk from the cabin. Tile showers, flush toilets, and laundry machines are available for your use.
The cabin is very basic, very simple. This is not glamping, by any means, but there are fresh linens and a comfortable bed.
Especially enjoyable when the weather might otherwise be a cause of stress. Raining? Even better! Relax for the evening, listen to the rain fall on the metal roof, watch out the window as the the clouds roll across the mountains, and be at peace.
There is a communal fire pit open for use anytime (except when restricted by the county/state). Firewood is available
The rest of the property is forested, and has trails which campers are welcome to explore.
The campground has a natural cold spring creek crossed by several hiking paths, ponds, small waterfalls, granite boulders. If you explore the property, you are likely to see deer, quail, rabbits, woodpeckers, ravens, hawks, and others.
The campground restoration is a work in progress, so work may be ongoing, but should not disturb your experience
A fun, easy, stress-free, and very comfortable camping experience. Host is on-site and available for any needs. Need hiking trail recommendations? Want to know some kid-friendly spots? Where to take the dogs? Did you for get your toothbrush or comb? Just ask! We love these mountains and we very much want you to fall in love with them, too!
