My stay was satisfying for one night. Annie was accommodating to switch campsites. Directions were ok, but easier to see entry sign driving south to north. Drove passed but was able to find on my turn around. Was quiet even though close to the road.

Site 1 - The Meadow Grove
Nicely laid out, and other campers were respectful. Bathrooms were a plus. A bit closer to a road than I had expected, but I slept well without issue. Lots of grassy fields with cows nearby, and the nearby landscapes are gorgeous. Thank you!

This Hipcamp was easy to find using the directions from the app, and check-in and check-out were smooth. The site was quiet, comfortable, and felt pretty private since there were no other campers around. It was great to have a calm place to relax just about an hour outside of San Francisco — close enough to the city, but far enough to feel like a getaway.
We also loved the super friendly cat on the property who came to hang out with us for a bit! Overall, it was a really nice stay, and I’d definitely recommend it and would be happy to return.

Campsite 3 was a big letdown. The grass was overgrown, making it hard to set up comfortably, and there were no leveled or improved spots. It felt neglected and poorly maintained—not worth the price.

Perfect little spot between Tomales and Valley Ford. No notice of road noise, which some reviews mention. Great facilities and sweet resident cat. Highly recommend.

So so good. The perfect quick escape from city life. The weather was awesome which definitely added to the experience, and it was special to see the cows grazing along the hills at sunset. I was the only person at the whole spot which was great.
Something to note: CHECK FOR TICKS! It’s nothing on the campsite, it’s just the nature of tall grass. Found a bunch on my dog and myself so make sure to give yourself a once over before leaving.

Great camp spot. Had a doe visitor the first evening that hung around for a long time.
Spent 2 nights total. Met Boots the cat, super friendly. Very lush in this camp spot and I found it easy to level the car. Clean and well maintained composting toilet. Will definitely stay again. There didn’t look like a bad spot to pick from!

Gorgeous setting and so quiet. My camper van couldn’t make it up the hill to site 4 (the tires spun, the branch height was fine) but site 5 was so peaceful as an alternative. Would happily return to this little piece of paradise.

I had a great time at Site 5 at the Meadow Grove. I found it to be very peaceful and relaxing. Although it is near the road, the traffic noise wasn't too loud, minus the occasional loud motorcycle. (haha). Boots dropped by for a visit until he spotted the dog. : )
The compostable out house was perfect and all of the notes were helpful and amusing. I plan on coming again, as the privacy was amazing. Any other campers were distanced away and did not impede on my experience. I did notice many traveling campers took advantage of the Hwy 1 location to use as a travelling stopover and it appeared they really enjoyed the location. I would only suggest that if someone in your party has mobility issues that they may enjoy the other more level sites. I loved site 5, but missed the notes that the other sites were better suited for tents. I chose it for the privacy which was perfect. Just a short drive to Valley Ford and the coast. So very relaxing and beautiful.

There was plenty of space and privacy for each campsite, and the surrounding rolling hills were beautiful. We especially loved the property manager (cat) named Boots and saying hi to the cows every morning. Definitely recommend for proximity to lots of beautiful spots in Bodega Bay and beyond! Super pretty spot. Some traffic on the nearby road but wasn’t noisy. Only complaint is that a lot of the area is pretty unlevel. Would be a little difficult to pitch a tent and, with the leveling ramps we had for our teardrop trailer we still weren’t able to get it level. So come prepared with some extra boards :) we had the spot to ourselves and, even if there were more people, the sites were big enough that you wouldn’t have been on top of each other (though not super private as it’s a relatively open field).

The farm is quiet than I expected. I enjoyed the morning walk in the back of the farm as I explored the path leading to the little pond. The cat was friendly and played with us for almost half hour.

Great little spot on a beautiful property! Site #4 is private, big, away from the road, and beautiful views of the hills. Amazing little grove of trees to set up tents or chairs or table under. Super convenient for exploring the coast, close enough to grab food in Valley Ford or Occidental if you don’t want to cook. Friendliest bravest cat to enhance your stay (as in, doesn’t bat an eye when an excited 4 year old runs toward him yelling Boooooots!!!)

Beautiful piece of land and nice campsite. Soil is a bit soft at Site 1 and there is a bit of a grade, so it was a little challenging to get our camper van level, but we spent a peaceful night here. The composting toilet is well maintained.

Sure, it’s a little tricky to find—but that’s part of the fun. Follow Anna’s directions, take your time driving, and prepare to feel like you’ve discovered something sacred. Once you arrive, the world slows down. The wind rustled through the trees the day we visited, giving everything a wild and poetic feel, like nature was singing just for us.
And then came the sunrise.
We were gently woken at dawn by what truly sounded like a million birds greeting the day with their joyful songs. It was so surreal and beautiful, it felt like Mother Nature herself gave us a private concert. No alarm clock could ever compete.
If you love peaceful solitude, raw beauty, and the feeling of being somewhere truly special, this place is your dream. It’s not polished or fancy—it’s real. And in this fast-paced world, that’s a rare and refreshing gift.
We’ll absolutely be back. And we’ll be telling every nature-loving, star-chasing, bird-song-swooning friend we know to come experience it for themselves.

Perfect spot to relax for the night. Just stayed for one night and it was extremely quiet and peaceful. Anna responds quickly and is extremely helpful and is very easygoing. Would 100% stay here again.

Great site!! Had the place to ourselves- aside from the friendly farm cat (Gravy?) and the cows. Beautiful location tucked into the rolling hills of Sonoma County. Easy to find, clear check-in instructions, picnic tables at the sites, outhouses available. Loved everything about it, and would definitely return! :)

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at the farm. Being in a tranquil location with peace and quiet was perfect! Even when other people came to the other sites I still felt safe and comfortable. My dogs loved the freedom ( hooked together for safety)and having the cows on the hill was mesmerising for Mera ♥️
