The Juniper Hideout A-frame Cabin
This is a very cute cabin. The furnishing, decoration, and amenity are of above-average quality. It's so great that I want one just like that.
The cabin is located in a very cute town. We spent time browsing through the little yard sale and their coffee shop and markets. And it's located between Arrowhead and Big Bear that we were able to easily drive to Big Bear for a hike on the PCT. (although I think Arrowhead's PCT was better).
Ashley was a very friendly and responsive host. I will definitely recommend this cabin to my friends and come back again.

The Juniper Hideout A-frame Cabin
Ashley was a great host, she responded quickly. The cabin was super cute and quaint. Total bonus points for having outlets almost every where. The kitchen was updated and the gas stove was a nice touch. The only small issue we had was the shower was on the smaller side. Overall I would highly recommend the Juniper Hide Out. Very Instagram worthy!

Best Hipcamp Experience So Far!
The Juniper Hideout was the perfect getaway/retreat space! I definitely recommend it for its location, amenities, and atmosphere. We’ll definitely be back.
Green Valley Lake is small and cozy, and the perfect distance from Lake Arrowhead and Big Bear Lake so that you can easily make a day trip to either location and come back to peace and quiet of Green Valley Lake.
Ashley is an amazing host: very communicative and clearly has an attention to detail as you can tell in the beautiful decor that is on-trend and functional. The cabin had everything we needed and then some. If it weren’t for current restrictions due to Coronavirus, we would’ve been out on GVL in the kayaks Ashley provided. Yes, there are bugs around the cabin and there may be a spiderweb or two that appears out of reach, but what do you expect? It’s a wonderful cabin *in the middle of the forest* so dirt and critters make sense!
We loved the overall vibe of the cabin too - cozy, comfortable, and campy. The stairs leading down to the cabin can be scary if you’re trying to carry too much or have bad knees, but we knew the stairs were there going into it and it wasn’t that bad. The kitchen had everything we needed to eat all our meals there in a clean and homey setting. The projector was a great feature as we’ve definitely missed movie nights in light of the pandemic. Wifi was convenient for getting some work things done without feeling like I’m stuck in that WFH office. Personally, my allergies were pretty heightened so I wish I had some nasal spray or a baby humidifier handy...but I didn’t exactly plan/pack that for a trip out in “at camp.”
All in all I highly recommend this site for any Hipcamper wanting to reconnect with themselves, each other, and nature, and get away from the day to day madness.
