It’s … a work in progress. A bit hard to find, and not a soul to be found at 6pm. Owner said he wasn’t expecting to be open but Hipcamp “makes him” remain open to bookings. Can’t say we’ll be back.

I enjoyed my stay! The birds are noisy but entertaining, and the land in that area is just beautiful. Michael was a kind and friendly host, and it was a great staging spot for a day at Pinnacles. Just what I was looking for!

Funky place. But I like it. Know what you’re getting into, chickens, dogs and lots of peacocks. Michael is a great guy and keeps an eclectic place. It’s probably not for everybody but if your open to it, it can be cool.

Really liked the openness and ability to choose where we wanted to pitch our tent. Also, the bathroom was nice and clean and the shower water was hot! Friendly people there

Scam! There is no service to contact the host in the canyon. But the worst and scariest part is that the address drove me into a gate with nothing else behind. Just wilderness. No path. No gate. No parking. No service. No GPS. I just kept driving out of the canyon and almost ran out of gas. DO NOT BOOK.

Michael was a very pleasant and helpful host. He has a variety of sweet animals that hang out all around the tent. Some of favorite parts were the farm fresh eggs, and amazing outdoor shower. I would definitely come back again and I would recommend if you need a nice place to unwind.

Mike, Kevin, and James were great hosts and fun conversationalists around the campfire at night. The site was just a short drive to Pinnacles National Park’s west entrance. I could easily get provisions in Soledad or King City.

Mike and all the rest were very friendly.
Good rest room and hot shower.
A steep hike to the top of the property is worth the effort to get a view of the valley.
Lots of critters as advertised (peacocks, chickens and dogs). You can leave your alarm clock at home, the animals will help you get an early start.

Mike was awesome ! He is a super host and made sure we were taken care of . It was fun to meet the folks there and the hard work he has put into his property. They even invited us to sit by the fire and made us some delicious dinner ! Highly recommend for those traveling near to stay for the night .

Good and safe spot. Nicely built wooden bath house. Good wifi. Besides of that no mobile signal in this area which made it hard to find this place without contacting the host.

Great space for a last minute camp site. The hosts were great and welcoming. Lots of spaces around to choose from. Trash cans were provided at the sites plus a bathroom/sink.

We needed a spot and were thrilled to find this place. They had picnic tables and a running toilet and shower. They also had a large sink area for washing our dishes. Very friendly hosts.

Michael and his crew are great hosts. Such a cool spot. Felt like a little Burning Man. Heed the warnings of noisy dogs and chickens and wear earplugs. Great stuff! I’ll be back.

Got there late at night, and a man who lives there gave us the rundown of the place. There is a well water sink for brushing teeth and washing things. There is also a shower but we didn't try it. Cool peacocks run around the campsite, which was really cool. There are many barking dogs at night, so bring earplugs if you aren't used to it.

I loved tent camping on Michael’s land! The host’s friend was kind enough to make a fire for us and supply us with the goods for s’mores. The wifi was a definite plus since neither of us had service. The peacocks on the property were a fun surprise as well!

We had an overall positive experience and felt welcomed by the host. There were lots of animals around the camp, including peacocks and (fenced-in in a separate area) dogs. We noticed some poison oak in/around the camping area, which we fortunately were able to avoid because it wasn't too crowded when we stayed. This isn't an ideal spot for people looking for a quiet getaway, but if you're looking for something casual and a little rough around the edges, this is a fine option. Also, ot seems like the hosts have plans to build more improvements, which will be nice!

This was a fun place to camp and the host was super friendly. Just a warning- it’s a super windy drive to get there and we didn’t have service the whole way. The site has WiFi though so that’s great. We had a wonderful time here (especially w the peacocks)!

The hosts were really nice, and I was grateful to find a place on short notice for one night when everything else was booked. That said, I did want to give future campers a clearer idea of what to expect. This is like someone’s property rather than a developed campsite. I was a bit thrown off when I arrived because there was no sign to indicate that it was a campground. Just a No Trespassing sign that made me hesitant to enter, thinking I might be in the wrong place. There is no cell service out there, so I couldn’t confirm either. Dogs were barking all night, and I got a little spooked when someone parked RIGHT next to me at like 11pm when there was plenty of space to not have to park that close. They didn’t mean any harm, but I think that was owing to the lack of organization or designated sites/parking areas. There is one toilet and not a lot of privacy to pee anywhere else if you’re a girl. Wifi works around the common/campfire area, but does not extend to the whole property. I’m not saying don’t stay there, just know what to expect!

The peacocks were beautiful and the property is fun to roam around. The hosts were very friendly and offered us s’mores and a fire. The location is rural. Roosters that crow at the crack of dawn and a dog kennel across the road. They offered complimentary earplugs, but I would recommend to bring some just in case. ***starlink internet*** 🥰✌️

We just had a great experience here! Stayed all weekend - Michael and Kevin are superb hosts. Clean restroom with warm shower and an outdoor tub! Great fire pit, and fresh eggs from chickens! Peacocks cruising around, very neat. Scenic hiking on property; coast/beaches 45 min away via an easy, meandering drive. Wifi works great in camp. Very comfy spot, we will definitely be back. Thanks guys!!

great little spot!!! michael and kevin are excellent hosts; we stayed all weekend, and enjoyed comfortable solitude with easy amenities . the restrooms are clean and nice, with hot shower and an outdoor tub! great fire pit, neat peacocks cruising around. wifi works great at camp. scenic hiking on property. coast is 45 min, meandering drive through valley a very nice retreat, with superb owners ready to assist. bravo, guys!!! we'll be back 👍🏻👍🏻
