This is one of our favorite places to stay! We have fun with the animals and Tara is always great with the kids and so informative.
Coco the goat is the cutest!

2nd time staying here! Great for kids with all the animals. Tara hosted my daughters birthday party as well and the kids had a blast! Tara goes above and beyond for her guests.

This was an amazing experience for all of us, but mostly our five year old daughter. She just loved being around so many farm animals in such an intimate way. This is not a petting attraction. It is a farm with real farm animals that are lovely and so gentle with kids. Tara ( the host) is just great. She has a warm welcoming attitude, and is amazing with kids. Our daughter counted seconds for Tara to show up so she can help her with feeding etc. Highly recommend for a family getaway.

Great experience, it’s like camping in the middle of a petting zoo! The kids adored Tara and all of the animals (horses, ponies, mini donkeys, goats, pigs, chickens, etc). My daughter (3.5 y/o) rode the pony and loved it (was her first time). There is also a playground and trampoline. Each RV site had a nice clean picnic table and a moveable fire pit that was pre-stocked with wood and kindling. Tara had activities for the kids (feed the animals, paint the pony’s toenails, brush the animals, etc) and taught us a lot about the animals. She also let us harvest some eggs, which were delicious. We brought carrots and apples and had lots of fun giving treats to the animals. We did not have any trouble with animal noise while we were sleeping. The GPS got us there with no issues (a portion is unpaved, but was well maintained and no problem). Highly, highly, highly recommend for a fun and educational stay with kids! We will definitely visit again.

This was an amazing experience for my kids! The host and her collection of Rodeo animals and rescued/adopted animals made for a wonderful experience for the kids.

This is a hidden gem for kids!! You can’t beat farm animals, a playground, open space to free play. My kids were in a paradise.
What makes this place extra special is the host, Tara. She is one of the sweetest individuals, she goes above and beyond to make you feel welcomed. She educated and answered the millions of questions my boys had, and she did it with a huge smile! She involved our kiddos in feeding the animals which was huge for them! I mean they even got to comb and paint a horse’s hooves!
This place exceeded every expectation we had, the memories we created here are priceless. We can’t wait to come back!

Tara is really great with kids and genuinely loves teaching them and opening up her farm to visitors. This will surely be a memorable experience for my kids who spent their birthday over the long holiday weekend. Tara even took the time to place a " happy birthday" banner over our picnic table which I thought was the sweetest thing. Unless you're a deep sleeper or wake up before sun up, bring a pair of ear plugs. Roosters start going right at first light.

We loved hanging with all the animals! Tara was so kind and explained so many interesting things to us. She taught the kids some great stuff and she was very helpful and accommodating. We had a great time and can't wait to go back! Thank you!!

My kids said this stay was the highlight of our 5 week road trip. They loved waking up to see horses right outside our RV window, and pigs & goats waiting for us when we opened the RV door. Tara was amazing with the kids, teaching them about the animals and letting them help her feed them and collect eggs from the chicks. My 6 year old cried when we left.
The road to the ranch is unpaved & uneven, I recommend arriving in daylight. We arrived at night, but Tara was kind enough to find us (panicked) and guided us to her ranch.

Host is very friendly and communicative. Highlight of this spot are the farm animals and fresh eggs in the morning! Lowlight was a neighbor's dog barking incessantly through the night. Great spot with lots of hiking options during the day. Firepit was perfect for the HipCamp location.

Amazing place to stay! Tara was a great host. We had so much fun with the horses and other animals. It was a lasting memory that my daughter will remember forever. Can’t recommend a stay strong enough.

Tara was the perfect host! I camped overnight with my kids and it was their first camping experience and it couldn’t have been better! Tara was very quick to respond to all my inquiries leading up to the trip and greeted us when we arrived.
We slept right next to all the animals and my kids loved every bit of it. Although if you want to plan on actually getting some rest i encourage you to bring ear plugs as the horses move around a lot and can be pretty loud and the roosters are quite early risers as you’d expect.
The site had a camp fire pit and Tara supplied us with wood and kindling. She also gave the kids a tour to meet every animal and let them help feed them which they loved. She also had a little painting craft ready for them to do as well. The next morning we got to fry up our fresh eggs that the chickens provided for breakfast along with some fresh bacon that Tara provided as well.
Everything was perfect and we definitely will be back!
