We stayed in couples yurt. Really a sweet little yurt packed with all the facilities we could think of. The trundle bed had good mattresses. The refrigerator, sink, induction pan made cooking easy. The heater came in handy on one of the nights when it was really cold.

Family Yurt with Skyline Views
The location is very cute, with three yurts close together. There are llamas, cats, and chickens on the property, and a lovely open air communal kitchen with fire pit. The yurt windows are dirty and you cannot see out them, but the view is nice when you're outside. The gardens are overgrown and abandoned, with sharp objects among the plants, so I wouldn't recommend this place to families with small children, but it's a nice spot of older kids and adults.
The drive that leads to the parking spaces is very steep with a sudden transition, so I wouldn't recommend the location to cars without high bumpers (we were not warned of this by the owners and there was no one there when we arrived so we didn't know where else we were allowed to park, which resulted in damage to our car).
The owners also did not inform us that their neighbors were in the midst of a loud and continuous construction project, resulting in loud beeping noises every time the earth movers backed up, every 30-90 seconds or so, from 8am to 4pm. Because of this, we had to cut our trip short. We had paid for four nights, but due to the noise we could only stay two. The owners offered no apology for their failure to honestly inform us of the current noise level in a space they advertised as quiet and restful. We booked shortly before our trip and I believe that they should have informed us of the construction as soon as they knew about it.
Because of this dishonesty, I do not recommend this location.

This camping site was awesome for our group of 4. Clean facilities, friendly host and convenient location. We did a hiking on San Juan Bautista trail and visited the old town with historic buildings that was 15min away from Terra Cultura. Nice sky views at night. I highly recommend this place. Thank you.

our anniversary! a sweet kitty cat welcomed us. we crunched through eucalyptus leaves and we're greeted by turkeys and jays and lizards. the yurt was so cozy and had all the comforts of home, but we could still hear the leaves rustling in the wind at night and needles pattering gently on the canvas roof.
not a far drive from watsonville, good food there and great thrifting!
a little further and you're at the beach!
great location, magical sleeping arrangements!

Honestly the campsite itself was not as the pictures were, as we arrived The whole place was overgrown dead grass, Cotton webs and dusty like no one had stayed for years. We didn’t even know if it was the campsite. The host lived less than 100 feet from the campsite and their personal belongings and trash were everywhere. Pathways weren’t clear and safe. Bathroom and shower were up on the hill far away from campsite. Worst part was the fire pit…wasn’t cleared out, and when our fire was going it was raining ashes all over the campsite. Unsafe and messy. On the bright side it’s quiet and we had a friendly kitty greet us when we first arrived, We named him Otis. If it weren’t for my sweet boyfriend making everything positive, and some alcohol, I would’ve left and demanded a refund. Will not be recommending this spot to anyone. 2/10 😒 quite embarrassing actually if I wanted to spend $100+ I would’ve just stayed in a hotel

The yurt was well equipped and it was lovely hearing the sounds of the forest throughout the day/night. The shower gets nice and hot, and the view is amazing. We really appreciate the yurt upgrade we were given! It made the birthday weekend with my partner even more special. I highly recommend staying here.

Terra Cultura is a hidden gem. Copper (my dog) and I enjoyed our little adventure immensely. I loved hearing the wind move through the eucalyptus tress while in the yurt an identifying the various bird calls. I saw a great horned owl soaring through the trees and heard its song each night. Copper met his first alpaca! Emory and the other resident were lovely people and easy to chat with. I highly recommend a visit to Terra Cultura!

Chose this location as a midway point between Santa Cruz and Monterey. The Yurt was cozy and had everything we needed. Emory was very helpful and quick to respond to any of our needs. We enjoyed our stay!

Incredible spot with very nice hosts! The Yurts were STOCKED with games, cookware, and additional blankets and everything else one might need and not realize. We had the best time and will definitely be coming back!!

Terra Cultura was a lush and serene place to spend the weekend. Emory and Travis were warm, helpful, and responsive to our inquiries and needs. I highly recommend staying in the Skyline Yurt. It's simple and spacious with more amenities (running water, heat, good light) than I thought possible in a yurt.

Couples Yurt in the Private Orchard
The yurt had many more features than expected! The fridge, hot plate, and sink were a nice surprise and really added to the comfort of our stay. The property was beautiful and offered the perfect serene farm getaway.

We had a very relaxing stay. The property is well maintained and the yurt was very cozy and comfortable. The property is not really a hiking or camping vibe, but it has a beautiful view of the surrounding hills and trees. The compost toilet was not my favorite experience but it was clean. The yurt had everything we needed to cook and enjoy the space.

We had a wonderful time in the family yurt! There were even more luxuries than we had imagined - with 3 great beds, pillows, soft sheets, books, games and a very useful kitchen. We hadn't expected to do much cooking while there, but plans changed and we ended up taking advantage of the kitchen area. The composting toilet was *fine* but definitely could have been maintained a bit more - it was getting a little sketchy by the end of the trip :)

This was my first time staying in a yurt and I have to say it was a great experience. It was super roomy on the inside on top of it being right next to a eucalyptus forest. The place has a farm and we got fresh eggs to cook in the morning. Overall excellent place to chill and enjoy.

Appreciated staying in this yurt as a break from our city life. Quiet and peaceful. Loved cooking fresh eggs from the farm’s hens in the morning. Yurt was stocked with olive oil and salt and pepper as well as a few keurig coffee pods.
Host was very responsive when we realized the propane was out when we arrived late at night (heater and stove burner wouldn’t turn on). Propane was replaced early in the morning, well in time to cook eggs. Yurt was stocked with lots of blankets so no heat the first night was manageable.

Great view, cozy and lovely setup inside the yurt. Kiddo had fun checking out the chickens, the amenities were all fabulous (loved the outdoor/community kitchen setup). Would visit again soon!

Very welcoming experience, it’s a great place to unwind after hiking. Beautiful place to watch the sunrise. It was pleasant seeing all the chickens and cats (argos in particular is very friendly). I liked how there are multiple restroom spots. Parking is surprisingly solid for a sedan (I drive a 8th gen camry). The kitchen in the yurt was super handy. My gf and I got groceries at the grocery outlet about 8 min away from the site. There are plenty of electrical outlets for charging devices. Most surprising thing is that there was cell service at the site. But for some reason you cant get any there is wifi. Thank you again for Emory for being and an amazing host. P.S. we tried vertigo and it was pretty damn good. The coffee cake was bomb!

It's a well managed camp, with the Skyline Yurt in which we stayed being well stocked, clean and very comfortable. Nice to have a hot shower nearby and the location from an access of things to do perspective was great as it's easy to get to the beach as well as good hikes in San Juan Bautista

Forest Floor Tent Site
Terra Cultura is a nice space, we were greeted warmly upon arrival. The communal kitchen and bathroom were nice, clean, and useful. We stayed at the Forest Floor tent site, which was a bit disappointing - the site was almost inaccessible because of the loose soil that was surrounding the camp and on the slope up to the site. It was very difficult to walk up to the site, to the bathroom, and around the picnic table - we fell into the dirt multiple times around the table. Additionally the walking areas are poorly lit making it even more difficult to get around at nighttime. With a more secure walking path - this place would be great!

The folks that run this place were extremely helpful and kind and had great advice for places to visit in the area. The kitchen was invaluable and made our stay very easy and fun! Nice quiet grounds as well. I highly recommend this campsite and would love to visit again!
