Talk Oaks Tent Site
This land is a little permaculture paradise tucked away in the hills near Santa Cruz. I loved it! The directions were reliable and the hosts were very friendly, the surroundings were stunning and the location was great, only a few minutes from the cute town of Felton. Would stay here again!

Perfect!
We stopped overnight on our way up the coast. The property was easy to find, and the site was well marked and easily located in the dark. We loved the Redwood trees, the farm stand, and the sweet animals. The spot felt good and we slept great! We would certainly stay here again!!

A cool property - wish the bathroom was more clean (lots of spiders and no tp) and wish the camp sites were more level (on a decent incline makes sleeping hard).

Tenting in Felton
I enjoyed tent camping on Lisa’s land! The directions were excellent and she actually was there to greet us but then we didn’t see her the whole time. The restroom and shower was clean and very close to the tent site. I also enjoyed walking around the property and visiting the animals. The atmosphere was very calm and relaxing. The site has a place to wash dishes and ample table space for sitting and cooking as well as shade if needed. Highly recommend and would stay again if in the area.

Lisa’s land was exactly what my partner & I needed when our camping plans in the area fell through. We got in late & were grateful for a level place to park, a clean bathroom to use & a beautiful space to wake up to. I highly recommend making the short walk down to Monty’s for a nightcap and some Grateful Dead on the jukebox.

Great camper van spot
Beautiful setting and nice flat space for camper van. Great location within walking distance of Henry Cowell. Nice clean bathroom down the hill past the chickens and turkeys.

Amazing!
Can’t say enough great things about our stay! Goats and a horse were near our spot and so friendly; cute farm stop shop, a garden we could walk near, clean bathroom, chickens and turkeys to visit, and a safe spot to rest! There are various ways to stay on the property it appeared, whether by van or in one of the actual buildings or tent. Really enjoyed our visit and wish we could’ve stayed an extra night.

Talk Oaks Tent Site
My son and I stayed one night in late October. Fun to see all the animals and walk around a bit.
Campsite is close to the bathroom. Easy to reverse car in and be close to the site. Peaceful and the solar-powered twinkle lights gave a nice ambiance.
Property is across the street from Henry Cowell state park and you can hear the Roaring Railroad train from the property!

Nice little spot to tent camp
This is a really nice campsite. I've stayed twice and find it quiet. The camp area has a level tent area and a picnic table. The bathroom with shower is very close by and only shared with one other party staying there I believe.

Amazing van camping spot on Lisa’s property. The space was level and clear. It was right next to the goats and horse. And the bathroom nearby was a nice bonus. I’ll definitely be coming back!

Great tent camping site, because of ease of access to the site, clean/level tent pad to stake a tent, solid tables, and well secluded for privacy.
The one downside of this tent campsite is that it was very noisy. The area is close to other houses, so I heard a loud party sounds throughout the night. Also, there were constant squirrels and falling acorn that made a ruckus throughout the day.

Camping at Lisa's farm
We loved staying at Lisa's farm. It was very quiet at night, just the sounds of crickets. The wash house was rustic but it was nice having running hot and cold water, a toilet, and a shower! Her farm animals were on their best behavior, very quiet and not smelly. She was very personable and told us what there is to do around there. Henry Cowell redwoods state park is about a mile from her farm. We went there on our way out of town and it is worthy. The only disappointment was that the pad to park the van on was not quite level so we had to use our leveling blocks each time we came back at night. A minor inconvenience. We highly recommend camping there!

Nice little farm to stay at. It had everything we needed, and the bathroom were stocked and clean. We enjoyed a night and it was close to Santa Cruz too. We camped in out built out truck.

Peaceful father/son camping trip
Lisa and her property were simply amazing - my son and I did a father/son camping trip for 3 days/2 nights. He loves seeing the chickens, goats and horse. Out campsite was very private, shaded and peaceful. He loved playing on the tree swing too :) The property is only 2-5 minutes from some of the best camping in CA, great food, entertainment and Roaring Camp. Only 20 minutes from the beach and the Boardwalk. Lisa was very kind and caring, made sure we had everything we needed for an relaxing, peaceful stay. We will definitely be going back soon!!

A return trip :)
This was a return trip and once again we had a wonderful time. The animals are friendly and the grounds are a nice walk around. Lisa is as sweet as ever and is quick to answer any questions or make recommendations to nearby hikes or interesting places. We will be back 100%.

Loved tent site!
Lisa is responsive and friendly! I loved her property and it was perfect for my daughter and I to have a little camping trip together. The town of Felton is walking distance and we enjoyed the thrift store, coffee shop, and farmers market. The camp is about 20 minutes from the Boardwalk and Capitola Beach.
The property was quiet and felt very safe as well. I highly recommend!
