This was a great spot outside of Davis- I was up early and really enjoyed watching the sunrise over the field in the back.
I’m camping in a Jeep with a pop top, and the space was level and easy to back into.
I got in at night, and the address provided led right to the gravel road to the camp spot.

A quiet place off a main road conveniently close to town. Clean and tidy with view of vegetable garden, row crops and almond orchard with a few chickens minding their own business. A barbecue, artificial turf and picnic table make the camping easy. Our 27ft trailer and truck were easy to back into the gravel parking spot. We would be very happy to stay again.

Jamie was great. Responding to messages was quick. Her farm is very cool. We arranged to use the pool, which was great for our grandkids. We got fresh eggs that were wonderful. Her farm is very nice and peaceful. Great change from crowed noisy campgrounds. We would stay here again. Thanks again, Steve and Linda.

We picked this location instead of an RV park because of the description about the farm, which we thought was an added perk for our daughters who love animals. Location was close to my friend who lives in Davis, she came over and brought us food and the picnic tablet on site provided a nice dinner spot for us. This was a one night stop on our way home to So Cal from Oregon and our first time using Hip Camp and it was a good first experience.. The space provided just what we needed, a safe place to sleep, electrical and water hookup, and a little more…beautiful, peaceful surroundings of the fields and orchards. There was minimal interaction between us and the host, which was ok by us. Our girls enjoyed walking the dogs in the yard and seeing the chickens. We didn’t use the pool, fire pit or laundry but appreciate that they are offered. The trash can provided was also a nice touch. Follow directions given by host closely for parking, we first pulled into the wrong driveway because we saw the orange cone, look for the American flag. We look forward to staying at Star Gaze Farms again.

Beautiful spot. We were there for just a night and I wish we could have stayed longer. Not far off the I5 but close to Woodland so lots of food options for a quick stop. My kids loved the turkeys that roamed by, would go again for sure.

This is such a cute spot! Beautiful spot for our motorhome and the pool and laundry availability is a great bonus. The fresh eggs were delicious too. There are so many thoughtful details here. We will be back!

Jaime’s place was exactly as described. Peaceful and pretty. She was extremely helpful and accommodating. I only stayed one night but wish we could have stayed more. I would definitely recommend. I was in a 36’ class A and towing a Jeep.

While you are literally in the middle of farmland (there's an almond orchard 10' away from the RV site), it offers spectacular views of the sunrises and sunsets. The spot itself is very sweet, with water and electric hookup for your convenience.
I would caution about taking your pups walking, depending on the time of the year. There are some weeds (farmland, remember?) that have some nasty stickers in them, so just watch the ground carefully when you walk your leashed pup(s).
The flickering solar lights offer a nice ambience to the camp spot.
This is our second stay at this Hipcamp, and the sunset was as spectacular this time as it was the last.
Jamie is a great host - you have your privacy if you want it, but if you need anything, she's very responsive.

We enjoyed our spot! Jamie made sure we had everything we needed and is very friendly host. She was so sweet with my kiddos and really made us feel welcome. The pool was beautiful and being able to do a load of laundry before hitting the road was super convenient. We highly recommend this spot.

No interaction with host at all. They basically waived me in the back and I had to figure out how to connect electrical, never did see the water or sewage connections if they had any. I did find water hose area that I wasn’t sure was even potable. I mean the place seemed mellow and quiet but not knowing what they have to offer or coming out to greet us really made me feel unwelcome. The rocks and the area around didn’t give you a lot of room either so be prepared to stay in the RV.

We had just a quick stay at Jaimes but couldn’t have been more pleased with the accommodation. We needed a last minute spot to hook up our camper, let the dogs and kids stretch and get some sleep. It was clean and had exactly what we needed to have a campfire and roast some marshmallows. Quiet. Clean. Safe. Fair price! We will be back!

Quiet, private, cute, close to town. Lots of attention to detail (landscaping, flowers, directions). General pride of ownership is evident. We got to see a beautiful sunset as well. Surrounded by fields and orchards (neighbor farm was getting ready to spray something as we left).
If you are traveling between NorCal and SoCal, this is the perfect midpoint.

Very quiet and peaceful! Perfect overnight spot for our road trip up to WA. Wish we could have spent more time here to relax and enjoy the perfectly set up site with pretty landscaping, picnic table, and fire ring (with water and power). Sweaping views of serene farmland for sunrise and sunset viewing. The hosts were also very gracious with our unplanned, very late night arrival.

We loved this tiny spot! I booked it very last minute ( less than 12 hours) on our way down to this area from Oregon. Is was an instant book, super easy and first time using this website. Jamie was super helpful and gave me all the information and clear description of the property’s do’s and don’ts . We were able to schedule time to swim in her beautiful pool (AMAZING pool, kept really nice , looks to have a waterfall feature but wasn’t on during our stay. Lots of great seating available for relaxing & umbrellas for shade) and our kids played on the little play structure onsite . There is a small pool unit that was being rented out but we didn’t see the person. The RV site was small/simple with a picnic table and nice grass carpet for entrance to camper. It’s right off the street and close to the owner’s home but we didn’t mind. We loved their chicken coop and this was one of the highlights for our kiddos. We purchased a few of their eggs! Fire pit available and if you forgot wood, they have it for purchase while reserving your spot. Will for sure use this again if we rent an RV and are in the area! We went to go see the chickens with our kids and they were in their chicken coup, we went for a walk and when we came back, someone kindly let them out so our kids could enjoy the chickens up close. They had so much fun, they started acting like chickens later.

Very private and peaceful we were needing some alone time away from everything and we had just that. What was awesome is although we were able to have 100 % privacy each time we had a question or needed to let our hosts know something we got an immediate respond back. There were so many stars simply breathtaking.

Overall very welcoming however I was unable to back up the trailer and Jamie had her husband help me because I asked. Unfortunately during this process my car was dented by the trailer that was being backed up. I should have done it myself and have regretted asking such welcoming people. Sad that I now have a dented car. Other than that recommend and lovely property and family

Wow what an awesome spot! Loved the farm feel combined with backyard pool and patio. Such a perfect space to spend time on a hot day. The host was also especially accommodating. Definitely recommend this spot if youre looking for somewhere to stay in the Sac area. Well definitely be looking to return!

We had a wonderful visit to this beautiful farm. It's such a peaceful area. The sunset is gorgeous, especially with the palm trees in the distance. It would make a perfect puzzle. Jaime was so friendly & encouraged us to let her know if we needed anything. Our stay was too short. We hope to be back soon.

Beautiful location, very peaceful and quiet. Thoughtful accommodations (picnic table, BBQ, garbage can), extra ambience with the flickering candles in the sconces. :) Jamie was a very responsive host, including loaning us a ladder and tool when one piece of our RV broke on our drive down.
