Space Cadet Camp
To the desert we go
It was magical getting to experience Debra’s desert oasis. She was a vibrant and lovely human who knew how to entertain and also provided a wonderful experience all around. From the tub under the starry sky to the meals we shared together, it was A+ primo. Also, the rain storm in the middle of the night was so relaxing to fall asleep to in the airstream…not at all the tin can noisy-ness we were expecting. If you are going to the desert with soul expanding intent, this is the place. Thanks so much for a great time, Debra!

Space Cadet Camp - Shiftpods
The BEST Way to Camp Near J-Tree
We had a blast staying at Debra's Space Cadet camp! Her communication the whole time was great. She helped us get to the camp site and welcomed us with her friend and her insanely adorable pup, Captain Happy (a well-suited name for such a handsome, joyful pup). She gave us the run down of the camp site and all its amenities upon arrival and introduced us to her other friends on site in case we were unable to reach her. We stayed in the airstream which was an absolute dream, especially in the cold weather with the built-in heater. It was perfect for the 2 of us, with plenty of room to walk around, play board games and make food. The best thing at the campsite, though, was the hot tub! Debra prepped the tub with espom salt, essential oils, and jacuzzi temperature water while we were at dinner so it was perfectly timed for us to jump in as soon as we got back from dinner. Sitting in a hot tub under the star-filled night sky in the the desert was something else! She also provided soap, shampoo, towels, and everything you would need to make your stay as comfortable as could be. I would definitely stay here again. 14/10 would recommend!

We really enjoyed Debra’s hospitality and her friend’s as well. The location and outside setup under the stars is a really nice touch to enjoy your evenings after visiting the park!

Amazing space and amenities. Perfect for a couple and was secluded but close to downtown 29 palms. Close to Joshua Tree and great fire pit.

Hot tub is a must.
An amazing stay in the desert. Quiet. Dark. Hot tub. Delish homemade food if you want it. A really divine experience.

Space Cadet Camp
Debra was super accommodating and met up with us quite late for check in which we super appreciated! Communication was great and she was there for whatever we needed.
The space was just as described and it was the perfect place to stay to visit the park during the day.
Would definitely stay again!
Also her partner was nice as well and their dog was so cute and friendly.
