I've been a local egg farmer for nearly 4 years. I have had many visitors to the farm, and given a few tours. I thought it would be cool for visitors to Joshua Tree to have a chance to camp on the grounds of an actual working egg farm where the chickens are allowed to roam freely on the entire property.

    Beware.
    Not at as advertised. Not a quaint stay on an organic chicken farm. No amenities available. No hot water and we got locked out of the bathroom. No fire rings we dug one and bought a grill. Five dogs barking. Dog and chicken poop everywhere. Loose dogs in our gear. Host wasn’t aware of our arrival until I texted an hour earlier. We left early. We couldn’t stay any longer.
