This place was an absolute gem to find. Private residence with bath and shower. Plus they allow pets. Great fast communication and responses. We would definitely book again.

Wonderful place with wonderful hosts. Our kids (7 and 5 yrs old) loved seeing the goats and chickens. Miriam and Damon were very kind and hospital and we had everything we needed for a great weekend getaway.

RV Glamping
We booked both the tent and RV site for our large group of 8. The hosts were super nice and took care of all our needs before we arrived. The RV was super clean and comfy while the tent site was nicely groomed and flat. Firewood was provided and so does all the utensils for cooking and games. A quick 15 minutes drive to Downtown Sonora for restaurants and bars. Will definitely come back again!!!

Miriam and Damon are wonderful hosts! They are so friendly and go out of their way to make your experience a delight. The sight is lovely with lots of decorative lights, beautiful patio furniture and a fire pit that makes you never want to leave. The bathroom is awesome with a large shower with multiple heads and lovely decorations. We truly felt like we were camping near family members. Thank you so much Damon and Miriam!

We had a FANTASTIC first Hipcamp experience. Damon and Miriam are wonderful people with a beautiful property. The bathroom, shower and coffee were awesome.
Their land was perfect for us. Waking up to the sweet sounds of their goats and chickens was awesome. Their property was a perfect proximity for us to head to Lake New Melones and various other beautiful places. We will definitely be back to their place next time we head that way. Thank you so much for a wonderful weekend

Amazing experience. Lovely owners who looked after us and our kids with nothing being a problem or too much.
The farm experience with our children was a welcome addition.
We stayed in the onsite RV which was in excellent condition, fully air conditioned with plenty of space for 2 adults, 2 kids and 2 small dogs.
The house garden and local area is beautiful and all within close proximity to must see experiences.

Miriam & Damon are incredibly welcoming hosts and we enjoyed our stay at their property! This was just a weekend away for two nights with our extended family (including 5 kids) and a basecamp to explore the local mountain community as well as spend a day in Yosemite. They were very generous to give us lots of kid friendly activities to do in the area as well as some vegetables from their garden. They also did not mind my yappy Pomeranian đ It was fairly hot and by the time the sun set we were exhausted from our adventures but I wish we had more time to enjoy their wonderful fire pit and for the kids to play on the playground! I absolutely loved saying hi to their goats. For reference, we had a 36 ft travel trailer with 3 slide outs and still had plenty of room to put our outdoor rug and camping chairs outside our trailer.

We loved how beautiful and peaceful this site was. They had so many different amenities to make your stay better. It was also pretty close to the national park as well. Very accessible and easy to find. The owners were very attentive to any need we had or could have and were extremely nice. All around great experience and would definitely stay here again.

Mariam and Damon were excellent hosts. Their property is private, peaceful and beautiful.
The outdoor shared space is perfect for hanging out in the evening. The goats and chickens were so cute. The private bathroom was amazing!
Damon was very accommodating and lent us an adaptor for our electricity and a WiFi extender.
One morning my husband woke up with a high fever and chills and Miriam offered us theraflu.
Even though the home is relatively close to the space it still felt private. It was our first time using Hipcamp and it was a great experience. If you are looking for a home base spot close to Yosemite or Sonora this is a great option.

We truly enjoyed our stay on their beautiful property. Miriam and Damon were fantastic, friendly hosts, and made sure we had anything we needed. We enjoyed the firepit on several evenings on the fully furnished patio. Conveniently located just over an hours drive from the entrance to Yosemite, and so much to do and see in the area.

We recently had an incredible stay at Miriam and Damon's property in Sonora, CA! Their hospitality was exceptional, making us feel instantly welcome and safe. The site was easy to navigate and packed with thoughtful amenities that made our stay comfortable and enjoyable.
The designated pad for our tent was ideal, providing a stable and convenient setup. We were thrilled to have access to a clean bathroom, a sturdy outdoor table, a cozy fire pit. These amenities added so much convenience to our camping experience. Our young children were especially delighted with the playset w/ swing and ladder ball which kept them entertained and happy.
One of the most memorable moments of our trip was gathering around the fire pit to roast hot dogs and marshmallows. This simple activity created wonderful family memories that we will cherish for years to come. The property's location is unbeatable, offering easy access to town and being just over an hour away from the breathtaking Yosemite National Park.
Miriam and Damon's place truly made our trip enjoyable and hassle-free. Their attention to detail and genuine care for their guests made all the difference. We highly recommend their Hipcamp to anyone looking for a fantastic stay in Sonora. We hope to return someday and create even more wonderful memories!

Loved rooftop tent camping on this lovely property. Not the easiest to find as Waze takes you to a different road, but once there it was delightful. Great amenities you can pay extra for and I did including the restroom and shower in the main house. The common area around the fire pit and games was a definite plus. We rented the fire grate and cooked our gourmet food we brought over a live fire. Great stay and a close drive to Natural Bridges.

This is one of those rare places you donât find often. We loved our stay in Sonora and could not have wished for a better place. We felt so welcome by Miriam and Damon and they made sure we had everything we needed. And the place is so beautiful. You can feel there is love in this place. The kids loved playing in the playground. And they could even cuddle with the little goat. The firepit is such a lovely place. Also a perfect place for stargazing. And best shower we had during our 2 months of traveling. We would definitely come back. Thank you for having us!

Miriam & Damonâs land is the perfect stay. First, Miriam is a super responsive host. She had been messaging me leading up to our stay, making everything super easy. Upon arrival you can see why this place is special. The amenities are perfect, and I couldnât have imagined a better place to stay. Highly, highly, recommend to anyone who just wants a chill night, this is the spot.

We loved camping on Miriam and Damon's land! It's great ratings and affordability were originally what caught our attention, but that was just the beginning. All the amenities such as lawn games, fire pit + wood, as well as a mat already there for our tent, along with a table and chairs right next to our campsite. They are oh-so-friendly, and take incredible care of their land and plants. The goats on their land are a bonus. Thank you to them both!

Beautiful spotâŚquiet and perfectly situated to explore the area. The hosts are more than accommodating and have set up a lovely spot to chill that includes a fire pit, outdoor grills, play set for kids and awesome views of the surrounding hills. Gorgeous views, very hospitable, helpful, and responsive hosts, great fire pit (including wood!) and picnicking area, some fun outdoor games as well! Great hookups, level clean gravel site. Very low light pollution made for perfect stargazing. Quite secluded, enjoyed the distant sound of the neighborsâ roosters, peacocks, donkeys and goats. Short distance to Columbia State Historic Park and a number of other fun spots.
The indoor bathroom and shower are luxurious and well worth the fee! Laundry was also a big plus.
