Welcome to Sierra Sol Camp! We have 9 different sites available to book as well as the option to book the entire property. Please scroll down to see all of the available options. The sauna has just been remodeled with a shower and bathtub right outside the sauna house. Here are the sites we offer: -Sierra Sol Diva Den (cabin) -Water Tower (cabin) -Daisy Belle (canvas tent) -Rise and Shine (canvas tent) -Sierra Sol Camp Lotus (cabin) -Sierra Sol Vintage Trailer (onsite trailer) -Sierra Shipping Container Retreat (cabin) -Sierra Sol Main Cabin (cabin) -Sierra Sol Camp Whole Property (all sites) The Sierra Sol Camp project has been hosting community events and friend gathering for years. We take great pride in extending a warm and welcoming space for all our visitors and extending the invitation to campers was a great next step. We have listings ranging from yurts to shipping containers, an old water tower converted to a vintage trailer and canvas tents. We are based in between the middle fork of the Yuba river right where it meets up with Oregon Creek. If you like a long walk it is 2.5 miles down the dirt road to Oregon Creek and the middle fork of the Yuba. Driving takes 5 to 10 mins. The other direction is the largest lake in our county Bullards Bar Reservoir and Emerald Cove Marina. We are 1 mile down Marysville Rd. from a launch called dark day. There is a trailhead at the top of overflow boat parking for a public swimming hole on the lake. On our property, we have a main house with its own private facilities such as a kitchen, shower, and bath. On the land, we have 9 total unique cabin and canvas tent structures converted into boutique-like campsites. We have an epic outdoor entertaining kitchen and patio with an outdoor pizza oven and a little dog rinse behind the outdoor shower. The bathhouse is right across the way and provides a private but shared guest shower house, tub and sink. Like anywhere in the woods there is an hour at sunset when you may have mosquitoes down near the sites in the spring and some of the summers depending on the year. We have a natural spray for that or fans in the kitchen. Off the path, you may find poison oak in the thick of the woods. So please stay on the marked trails.

We offer a cool hotel-like dwelling with a king-sized bed surrounded by our orchard on the edge of the duck pond called the "Diva Den". The Diva Den features blue ray DVD player and an assortment of older dvd's , a propane stove to keep it cozy in the winter and a private outdoor patio - undoubtedly, any Diva would find herself in paradise.  The greater area offers many places to go fishing, boating, swimming, hiking, paddling , mountain biking, horseback riding, visit historical locations and many other activities. The Bullards Bar Reservoir is the largest lake in the county and its a 6.5 mile drive from the property and offers many different water activities including jet skis and boat rentals, swimming and fishing at Emerald cove Marina. The Middle fork of the Yuba River is 4.5 miles in the opposite direction where the cool refreshing Oregon Creek flows into it. If you enjoy a hike walk down the dirt road from our property 2.5 miles to Oregon Creek look for the eagles nest in the tree top. We are a stop on the way to Downieville world renowned downhill mountain biking.

 This is a 16 ft. Canvas tent here at the southern border of Tahoe National Forest. This site has 2 beds 1 queen and 1 double. We have solar lights and new beds to enjoy the most restful nights sleep in the woods. Each site is private and has one outlet for an outdoor light and a fan in the tent. Our private outdoor shower shared amongst the sites is centrally located near the kitchen where there is an outside sink readily available. Around the back of the shower house is a semi private outdoor tub all have warm water and a single towel for each guest. Our fun and fabulous outdoor communal kitchen is wonderful for entertaining and sharing a meal. We have all of the kitchen utensils you would need, coffee maker, toaster, ice machine, small fridge to share with other guests, pizza oven and we try to keep oils and spices fully stocked. The Kitchen is located right next to our veggie garden in between our two orchards. It is the hub of entertaining, for more of a private night the sites all have solar lights a battery lantern and a small table and chairs. You can bring one of our ice buckets to your sites  We are based in between the middle fork of the Yuba river right where it meets up with Oregon Creek. If you like a long walk it is 2.5 miles down the dirt road to Oregon Creek and the middle fork of the Yuba. Driving takes 5 to 10 mins make sure to always take a lft out of our driveway. Old Toll is not a through rd. The other direction on marysville rd. is the largest lake in our county Bullards Bar Reservoir and Emerald Cove Marina. We are just over 1 mile down Marysville Rd. from a boat launch and public swimming area called dark day. There is a trailhead at the top of overflow boat parking for a public swimming hole on the lake.  Please stay on the marked trails. Poison oak has not been cleared in the forest only on designated trails and of course the common areas.

This is an old water tower transformed into a nurturing nest with a double bed, overlooking the views of the property. Enjoy a private getaway with a dear one or a perfect writers retreat. Sit on the deck and dream away. This location is the most convenient for parking if you want the early start to the lake or rivers. The kitchen is central to all of the sites. This site is near the cathedral which is quonset hut that in the summer months is set up for yoga. The sauna, fire pit, and pizza oven are all available we try to have stocked in firewood and ask for wood donations. The composting toilet is not far from this site and the heated shower and bath are near the kitchen.

The Yurt is one of our loveliest new sites! You walk through the orchard and below the communal kitchen. Giving you privacy and a feeling of being in the woods still maintaining accessibility to the facilities. Make a fire in the wood stove on a chilly night. Or bring a bucket of ice down from the kitchen to share an iced beverage in the woods. This site has hard floors, a skylight, an outlet for charging, lights and a fan to keep you cool when he sun is hot. The Outdoor kitchen is perfect for a family meal or entertaining. We have a sauna, outdoor fire pit and pizza oven that are all available  The bath house has a warm private shower and a semi private warm tub. We ask for do provide wood and ask for donations depending on use. There are bins in the fridge for each site and a ice machine in the outdoor kitchen.

16ft. Canvas Belle tent just outside of our garden provides a lovely setting for an easy get away. This site has 1 queen bed and 1 double bed with table and chairs to enjoy some nature watching. This site has a new sink and little flower garden. The outdoor kitchen is a large entertaining area next to the gardens and orchards. The outdoor kitchen is fully stocked with spices and next to the herb garden. We have all the dishes, silverware and cups as any household kitchen. pots and cast iron pans, rolling pins and pizza oven utensils, and coffee set up. We provide 2 heated private outdoor showers, 3 semi private heated tub and composting toilet. Sauna is wood fired and available with requested donations for use of our firewood.

We have solar lights and new beds and clean sheets to enjoy the most restful nights sleep in the woods. Sierra Shipping Container Retreat

Our Shipping container is our newest site, centrally located next to the Sauna, Kitchen and Shower house. There is a Queen bed and power in the site with a lovely deck to enjoy the shady sierras on a hot day. Table and chairs inside and out. The kitchen has a small fridge to share with the other guests and is equipped with all the amenities including a wood fired pizza oven. The bath house has hot water and private shower with a semi private bath. The composting toilet is down the stairs to the right of the wood shed. Our dodecahedron fire pit is a lovely place to soak up the night sky while wrapping in one of our outdoor blankets. The largest lake in the county Bullards Bar Resivoir is a few miles away and the middle fork of the Yuba river is about the same in the other direction. Inquire about pontoon boat rentals for groups or a private day.

Sierra Sol Vintage Trailer

Our Vintage trailer is a site with a double bed and a kitchen table that converts into a sleeping area for smaller kiddos. There are table and chairs inside and outside of the site. The Kitchen with pizza oven, heated bath house, sauna and composting toilet are available. The trailer has an icebox that can be used and if there is room in the fridge you are welcome to use it. On a booked night the trailer is a more independent site. It is located at the top of the property where you can park right next to it. The dodecahedron fire pit and bar area is a perfect entertaining area. The Bullards Bar Reservoir is the largest lake in the county and it is 3 miles down the road to the public swimming hole inquire within about pontoon boat rentals. The Middle fork of the Yuba River is the same distance in the other direction with cute waterfalls and sandy public beaches.

All campers, whether they are staying overnight or not, must be included in the reservation. Can additional guests be added after the initial booking? Yes, you can modify your trip to add more guests through the Hipcamp app, but you cannot exceed the maximum capacity. We have an epicurean peaceful partially permaculture backyard garden orchard and entertaining event center. We are nestled in the sierra foothills 5 minutes from the middle fork of the yuba river and Bullards Bar Resivoir either direction from Old Toll Rd. The hub of the outdoor entertaining area is the kitchen and patio surrounded and including pizza oven, restaurant stovetop, sauna, bathouse, multiple 3 outdoor tubs, 2 outdoor showers as well as private facilities inside the cabin with a flushing toilet. The outside facilities is an outhouse to share amongst the guests that are residing in all the glampsites other than the main cabin. In every dwelling we provide 1-2 beds clean sheets and warm blankets, pillows, a fan or mini swamp cooler, table and chairs at least one outlet and solar lights for the canvas tents more outlets for the sites with walls. Our extra communal space we call the cathedral it has been used as a yoga chale, workout space or late night dance area and can be booked as an add on. Please inquire within about extra add ons such as the pontoon boat, pizza chef, catering, yoga teachers, massage therapists or sound systems for larger group events.

This is the main house of the property. There is a living room, family room with a fireplace, Kitchen, master bedroom, upstairs bedroom and a half and a full bath. The house is bohemian off grid living with full solar power and heated water. Downstairs we have a king bed and a double futon in the living room. Upstairs we have a queen bed, a double futon and 2 twin beds. We are located on the middle fork of the Yuba river and across the street from Bullards Bar Resivoir. We have a beautiful outdoor entertaining space that is available for use as it is shared with other campers. Large entertaining area, outdoor showers and baths and a sauna for all the guests to share. The house provides a private kitchen and bathroom with a flushing toilet.

Sierra Sol Main Cabin
The most unique hipcamp I've ever been! So much to do and so much to see, we had tons of fun! Main cabin is extremely comfty, equipped with everything you need. Deja is super friendly and flexible to our last min change, truly appreciate the flexibility. Oh, did I mention Deja's hipcamp is only 10 mins away from Oregon Creek? We spent whole day there it's so beautiful. It's perfect in every way, we will definitely come back.

I held my Bachelorette party at Sierra Sol and it was a glorious space for us. We had 20 people, all slept comfortably, plenty of beds and chairs. We enjoyed the outdoor kitchen and lawn the most. Deja's property had everything you'll need! Plenty of cups, plates, silverware, pots, pans, etc. The water tasted great. We loved the cold plunge tubs outside as well. The oregon creek day use area was a 10 minute drive. We met many of the folks who work on and care for the property and it is filled with love. Cannot wait to return! Thank you Sierra Sol

Deja's property was just awesome. Lovely site with plenty of room to cook and hangout with friends and family. We stayed in the main cabin and it was so spacious and had plenty of room and more. We will for sure return!

Versatile logging option
Yurt in the Orchard
The Sierra Sol Camp is well located, close to the rivers and the Bullards Reservoir. The cabin room was clean and well maintained, and I especially enjoyed the outdoor shower. The kitchen is small but equipped with everything you need to prepare a nice meal. However, if the camp has medium to high occupancy, using it will require quite a bit of coordination. Signage around the property could be improved, as labeling for the different locations is not very clear. The arrival instructions also need updating: they currently say to park and go to the kitchen for instructions, but it isn’t obvious where to find them, and no staff were visible anywhere on the property. You’re left to figure things out on your own.

We loved every detail about this magical retreat, from the comfy accommodation to the communal area, kitchen and baths. So fun and well designed, you can feel the love and passion that went into creating the space. Lots of great places to explore in the vicinity too! We did have one issue, upon returning from a day of adventure we found all our food was cleared out of the fridge. Surely an honest mistake… but still surprising that the staff were not aware we were staying there, even after we had said hello and everything. Added an unexpected hour long mission rushing to the grocery store right before they closed! Thankfully Deja was easy to reach and quick to help us resolve the issue. We would still return, hoping that’s a very rare slip up!

Surrounded by so much green, bumble bees, hummingbirds and so much more. It is beautifully designed giving it an artistic rustic glamping feel. It is magical. Loved the outdoor shower, enjoyed soaking in the outdoor tubs and using the sauna. The outdoor communal kitchen was a fun place to get to know your neighbors or great for groups! It was well stocked with all the equipment you would need. Highly recommend and will definitely be back.

Beautiful place! I highly recommend this stay. Even better than pictured, it has all the amenities you need for the perfect "glamping" escape. Super quick access to the river and hiking trails. It would also be an amazing venue for a group gathering or retreat. Will definitely return!

Really beautiful area and the kitchen is lovely. The staff and Deja were all very kind and welcoming and everything was well marked. We were unfortunately a bit disappointed when we arrived to find out the sauna, shower, and bathtubs were all out of commission. The amenities were the reason we picked this property in the first place and it would have been nice to at least get a heads up. It looked like they were doing active work on those facilities so perhaps later in the season it will be up and running and lovely, but I would check before booking if that is what you were looking forward to those things like we were.

I had my 30th birthday here and boy do I recommend it! The space was absolutely beautiful, well-detailed, relaxing, and fun. We had a yoga class on the large deck, sauna-ed and relaxed, played games on the lawn, and danced in the cathedral area! Our pizza party with Felix was fabulous (highly recommend) and communication with Deja was great- she was extremely accommodating, helpful, open and kind. We loved it and will definitely be back for more fun!

Incredible place. You can see how much love and thought was put into building it. Great vibes! I took my daughter and her friend. We all want to go back! Close to amazing swimming and hiking spots. Lil grocery store is only 12 minutes away. We got the cornmeal pre-made pizza crusts and fixings to make pizza. Delicious 😋 Thank you Deja and who all helped you create this incredible peaceful place. Excited to hopefully have a goddess retreat there!

Sierra Shipping Container Retreat
We stayed in the Shipping Container and loved it! It was the perfect size for 2 adults and 1 dog. The little patio was great for afternoon hangs :) it was too hot for us to use the sauna but this spot would be great for easy access - we loved the outdoor shower which was just on the other side of the sauna. Overall our stay was perfect! One thing to note - if your dog is reactive to people or dogs, this might not be the best spot. There were a few friendly dogs milling around unleashed. And of course, there’s primarily community space (vs private)!

Wow wow wow. What a special place. Our group had a great time in the main cabin and bell tent. Both were very comfortable and had everything we needed. The outdoor kitchen space and pizza oven were awesome!! Great decor, great vibes all around. Also everyone that came to care for the property were very welcoming and helpful too.

Water Tower
Great communal and bohemian farm stay! We had a lovely time and would stay here again. It was mostly quite clean and the expectations were clear. Some little quirks and broken things here and there that come naturally with staying outdoors in the middle of nowhere, such as: one of the showers with no hot water, missing compost for the toilets, and no soap in some sinks. Not a deal breaker but worth noting! Thank you.

Sierra Sol Diva Den
We had a fantastic time staying in the Diva Den on Sarah's property! It's beautiful, private, and perfectly situated near all the amenities (outdoor kitchen and shower). The bed was super cozy, and despite the high temps, the room stayed cool. We loved chilling on the shady private patio as well. With the wood-burning stove, it would be equally lovely in winter. The outdoor kitchen was incredible! Very well stocked with everything you need to cook a gourmet meal--even spices and oils--which we did. I loved the outdoor shower, the gardens, and the flowers everywhere. Stargazing at night was off the charts, and the earthy artistic vibe was totally our jam (very clearly some Burning Man influences here too, which brought back many memories for the hubby). We plan to come back in winter to take advantage of the sauna, outdoor soaking tubs, and the communal fire pit--which is a work of art. What a cool place!

What an incredible weekend! I wanted the perfect glamping spot for my 50th birthday with 32 friends, and Sierra Sol Camp exceeded every expectation. After extensive research, I found this gem on Hipcamp, and it turned out to be magical. Each site has its own unique charm and beautiful decor. Music lovers will enjoy all of the instruments around the property and art lovers will enjoy the large Burning Man art pieces. The outdoor kitchen and communal hangout area were ideal for gathering, with stunning outdoor lighting that set the perfect mood. The large deck offered breathtaking stargazing, and the secluded location provided the peaceful solitude essential for a proper glamping experience. Nearby swimming spots like Oregon Creek were absolutely gorgeous. Deja, the property owner, was amazing from start to finish. She was incredibly responsive during the planning process, helping with every detail. We even invited her to our party, though she had another event to attend. Her staff was equally fantastic. Felix, who captained our party boat at Bullards Bar Reservoir, made the day unforgettable, and his wood-fired pizzas were some of the best I've ever had. Sorcha, our bartender, went above and beyond, staying late to ensure everything ran smoothly. This might sound over the top, but it was genuinely an extraordinary weekend. My friends still talk about how it was one of the best weekends they can remember. Huge thanks to Deja and her team—we’ll definitely be back!

Sierra Sol Camp Lotus
This spot is fabulous. Upon arrival it feels relaxed and amiable. We were there for 2 nights on sunny days that hit 100 degrees, but there were places to stay cool (shade, misters in kitchen area, cold tub if you wanted). It's a calm hillside community that feels quirky and fun and just a little like summer camp. Chickens! love the ambiance, and of course the eggs. Terrific open composting toilet with a view. Nearby sink perfect for related hand washing. Kitchen well-organized and plenty of condiments, dishes, pans, etc for all cooking. Sometimes a little crowded if multiple people were trying to cook, but we enjoyed meeting the other guests that were there as well as Deja and her family. Pizza oven wasn't fired up while we were there but ... it was pretty hot and cutting up a refrigerated watermelon was a better evening option. Bluetooth to play your own music in kitchen area was nice, but I could only get my books on tape to play, probably because my Spotify mostly requires stronger wifi/internet access than they had. Internet is spotty and not strong, but hey - you are in the boonies! We drove north on 49 to the Rocky Rest trailhead and there is good river access there. Lots of folks tubing but we just dipped and hung out on shore reading. Watched a mama duck and all her ducklings, as well as witnessed a young boy go under and raise him arm for help - at which sign about five people dove to him from different directions and quickly got him up and on shore
