Guests love staying here "There’s not much to add than what’s already been said — this site is an absolute stunner. Stayed for two nights and we were so sad to leave it. Setting up tent right next to the oceans edge on a bluff and waking up to the wide openness was like nothing we’ve experienced when camping, we found the views rivaling the lost coast (except you’re right near civilization if you need it). Separate Star Point Camp
A Must-Stay Along the CA Coast
Benjamin's oasis is truly a must-stay. I've been hoping to stay here for quite some time and I finally bit the bullet to celebrate my graduation and birthday. What was first a solo trip quickly turned into a sibling vacation once they saw the listing and one thing's for sure, this site did not disappoint.
We went the first week of November and were met with a gorgeous sunset and the lovely sound of crashing waves the first night--truly making the drive and trek down with all the gear worth it. It did rain the second night but it was quite light and we just made sure that our tents' rainflies were on and our food and supplies were covered. Having the hose and spigot right next to the site was also so helpful. The porta potty was nice and clean, with the most recent cleaning date just a couple days before our arrival.
For those who are fortunate to come and stay there are a few things that helped make our visit easier:
1) We brought a collapsible wagon/cart to unload and bring the supplies down to the camp from the parking area
2) Our tables had adjustable legs so we were able to adapt to the uneven terrain near the firepit. This made cooking so much easier because our stoves and containers weren't sliding down the table
3) We brought instant pop-up shades that stopped water from dripping on our heads. Even though it only rained at night, the fog was so thick that the water would collect on the branches, drop below, and would act like rain
Thank you so much Benjamin!

Separate Star Point Camp
This was my first time experience camping in a tent so can’t compare with other places, BUT I am sure this campsite will be one of my favorite place to stay. The view was gorgeous and everything we need was there. It’s definitely worth spending more $ to stay this private campsite. One thing I highly recommend the campers to keep all the food in a car before go to sleep. Raccoon is living somewhere and they are so smart!
We definitely will be back here again.

Separate Star Point Camp
Best camp site ever.
As good as it gets! Seriously, campsite just do not get any better than this. Beyond the stunning location, Benjamin's place has a clean restroom, running water and easy parking. Communication was fantastic. I could not ask for a better experience.

Separate Star Point Camp
Great small spot for 2-4 campers. Private but close enough to the main road and supplies. Loved waking up with the waves crashing below, having a coffee and then heading north to Stewarts Point Store. Went all the way up to the light house for the views and tour as well, super enjoyable weekend.
