Ginger’s place is amazing! So beautiful and peaceful and right on the Avenue of the Giants. We loved her fresh fruit and vegetables and how quiet it was there. Would love to stay there again!!

We stayed at 6 HipCamps during an August road trip. This was the only one not up to the standard. I'll chalk it up to the host having a bad day. The site in the redwoods was beautiful and the port-a-john was clean. However we had poor communication from the host for our arrival and we found that trash was overflowing in the building with check in instructions, the toilet and sink, and trash was strewn outside that building. This was the arrival area where we were instructed to stop; first impressions matter! Clearly the self certified COVID safety standards were not implemented between the last campers and our arrival. It seems the campers before us were disrespectful with their trash and should have gotten a big thumbs down. We spoke to Ginger (host) as we were leaving and informed her of the issues.

The setting is beautiful: a private campsite with a picnic table, ample shade, and multiple fire spots nestled between redwoods. There are convenient amenities in walking distance: bathroom, fridge, etc.
But the people are even more amazing! Upon arrival, Ginger gave us fresh produce and flowers, along with an info sheet. Everyone we talked to on the farm was friendly, genuine, and helpful (and the resident farmdog Kaya was very cute and friendly). On our last night, our car battery died and the hosts went above and beyond to help us out.
I couldn’t recommend the Corn Crib enough!

My 2nd stay and it did not disappoint. It's just an amazing space that is private and secluded. It's all you can ask for if you want to get away from the crowds. Excellent throughout.

Private, clean, plenty of spots to put your tent and hammocks.
We ended up only being able to use half of the time we reserved but are hoping to come back and really explore.

What a perfect location to Humboldt Redwoods right off the Avenue of the Giants! Ginger gifted us upon arrival with fresh veg and fruit from her family farm. The camping spot is tucked behind the farm and is wonderfully secluded in the woods.

The Corn Crib is completely delightful - the land and farm itself are gorgeous and farmed expertly and organically by Ginger who provides her guests with an incredible spot and experience...in the redwoods w privacy, beauty, and just an awesome vibe. She was also generous enough to gift us a basket of her fabulous veggies. Thank you so much Ginger for sharing your beautiful corner of the works with us!

The Corn Crib was perfect. Ginger was super responsive and helpful and the forest across the street was the most beautiful grove we saw. Great place for friends to relax and unwind in the great outdoors.

The Corn Crib was so so special. Not only are you located a short walk from some wonderful Humboldt Redwoods trails, the farm itself is spectacular and private. It is super quiet ,very private, and beautiful. Ginger and her family were wonderful hosts who also were kind enough to share great local information about the area and some of its history. This one should not be missed!

This place is fantastic. A true Northern California experience. Redwoods. Coastal air. Everything was taken care of at the site—tables, seating, etc. This is mostly a forest experience but with a cool view of Ginger’s farmland close by. Thank you!

What a beautiful location! The drive there was a divine spectacle of God’s great creation. The site was so cute & clean, along with the amenities (clean portapotty, flushable toilet only a short walk away, dug out fireplace, LOTS of privacy). Wish we were there longer! Thanks Ginger! Totally recommending everyone to go!

Such an ideal spot on a lovely piece of land! Ginger was so helpful (even though we never met in person, I know these peeps are rad!!). Perfect location to wake up for an early drive through the Avenue of Giants! We parked our van right in the trees and hung our hammock for a little relaxing. Firewood was provided for the cute little fire pit too! Convenient porta potty right near the site was sooo nice to have! Thank y’all! ❤️

The Corn Crib
We had a wonderful stay at the Corn Crib/Sarvinsky Family Farm. We camped in the grove, which was beautiful and had tons of space. We stayed for 2 nights and only saw the owners when we checked in - otherwise, we had the whole property to ourselves. The farm is gorgeous. Our toddler loved seeing the birds, bunnies and tractors (!!). We picked wild blackberries on our walks back from the bath house. The bath house itself is a bit of a walk (slightly further than you'd walk in a typical state park campground), but worth it for a hot shower with good water pressure and a nice big sink for washing dishes. You can either use the toilet there, or a port-o-potty at the campsite, which was very clean. And you can't beat the location - it's literally on the Avenue of the Giants! We loved camping here and would love to come back with friends. This was our first Hipcamp experience, and it's hard to imagine going back to staying at crowded campgrounds after this.

This is an excellent location. We have stayed in nearby Burlington Campground three times but wanted something different. The site itself is great, the farm is beautiful, such a wonderful setting. Aside from greeting the daughter of the owner the first afternoon we didn’t see any other people for the next two days. Our three year old loved it.
I highly recommend staying here, it was awesome.

Wow! I really loved this place. The site itself was was huge! It is a large group sized site. It is located at the end of the family's farm lot, so you are nicely isolated. Very quiet especially at night. Nothing, but the birds and the wind through the trees. What's great about the owners is they only reserve it to one group at a time. So you have the whole area to yourself while you are there. Ginger, and Gene were very friendly, and helpful. If you need anything just ask, and the will help. By far my favorite place I have visited through Hipcamp. Can not recommend it enough!

What a great site. Perfect quiet spot in the trees in the back of a beautiful, working farm. The shower & sink for dishes were great. The hosts were very responsive & helpful. Would definitely stay again.

This was our 2nd time staying here.
The site is tucked on the back of the property within a grove of trees. This grove is so projected and dense that it keeps the area shady and several degrees cooler! It can get very dark at night for this reason also, so flash lights are a must!
We left the campsite a little neater than before, picked up was scattered tissues tucked behind trees from other campers and made sure to leave a nice little stick/twig pile and a couple extra pieces of wood for the next guest.
There is a porta potty right at the site for your use and it is SPOTLESS!
The hosts are so very kind. Their veggies are lovely and some of the best tasting I have ever had.
So many great hiking trails near by! If you are a GeoCacher, there are several fun ones along Avenue of the Giants that brings you into some really beautiful places.
We are hoping to make this an annual trip.

We loved our stay at the Corn Crib. Great location, nice and private enough space to bring a large group - I really appreciated that Ginger takes one camper at a time to truly give us our space. I took both my little kids for a break and they loved the drive through the Redwoods, checking out all the vegetables at the farm and figuring out how things grow outside of seeing them at the supermarket, Ginger was an amazing host and her dogs were very sweet, gentle and friendly and the kids loved seeing them. Highly recommended, we're looking forward to our next trip back.

A very private, quiet spot that is far from the road, in a redwood grove that's behind the lovely farm and orchard. Ginger gave us a helpful intro to the site when we arrived, along with her friendly dog. We enjoyed the produce from their farm stand. The path down to the river was a bit tricky to walk on (as we were warned it would be), due to all of the tall, dry reeds/grasses in the path, but it goes down to a pretty spot on the river. The whole area is gorgeous. I'd definitely stay here again. We saw plenty of bear scat around, but never saw a bear; they kept to themselves. FYI: If your phone connects to a certain network's cell towers (Verizon, I think), you will have Internet/phone access, but otherwise you won't; there's no on-site WiFi network.

Ginger was extremely friendly and welcoming and was kind enough to offer us some fresh vegetables. The property has a port-a-potty which was pretty clean and the camp space was completely private. The property is very beautiful. We had a great evening until the sun went down. We heard several gun shots which sounded pretty close, but we weren’t sure. We assumed it was someone goofing off recreationally on the river but it was definitely a little unsettling and ruined the mood. I do want to emphasize the host was very kind and the property was lovely. I hope the gunshots were not real danger and were just a one off thing. I would return again 🙂

A must do! This was my first time booking through Hipcamp and Ginger just knocked it out of the park first trip! Absolutely stellar set up and campsite can't thank you enough Ginger!
Kids loved the river play and bushwhacking down to it...that's the only thing that would have been the cherry on top is a little easier walk through the bush for the grandparents but we ALL made it down to the river! Had a contest with the kids on who could find the most banana slugs...they loved it!
I would 100% do that trip again! Pack out what you pack in.

Truly one of the best places to camp we have ever been. Ginger´s farm is beautiful and serene. Feels lush, with the redwoods, the vegetables, and the sunflowers and marigolds blooming everywhere. The back of the property has a small orchard which is grassy and so picturesque. The campsite is just past the field where the vegetables are growing, behind some big blackberry bushes (yum) and in a private grove of redwood trees. The grove is shadowy and perfect for tents, and there is a clearing where it is sunny and the campfire and picnic table are there. It rained when we were there but we were protected under all the redwoods and did not get wet. A 3 minute walk along the main field will bring you back close to the entrance gate and there is a little bath house with a shower and flushing toilet. Outside is a large sink for doing dishes. Ginger and Gene are very friendly and give you privacy but are available if you need anything. We will definitely be returning. Truly a wonderful place!!
