Our homestead is nestled within the breathtaking beauty of Santa Cruz County. Staying here offers a glimpse into the ongoing operations of a modern, small footprint homestead. Our close proximity to the iconic Pacific Coast Highway (PCH), Capitola Village and Santa Cruz ensures you're moments away from the majestic views of the vast ocean, surfing, hiking, dining and entertainment. Regarding your camper -- please be sure your camper / RV / Campervan / motor home has a toilet. County regulations require a toilet to stay here. Also, our property can only accommodate hardshell campers / RV's / Sprinter type vans. Sprinter's with a pop-up for sleeping are fine. If you have a trailer, please have the requisite skills to back your trailer into a space 10 feet wide. Whether you're a flower enthusiast, a lover of fresh produce, or someone seeking a peaceful and safe overnight space, our homestead offers a delightful experience. We invite you to come and stay with us and experience the simple pleasures that our small farm has to offer. PS -- when you message us, please tell us about your camper (type / length / year) and that it has an indoor toilet. This helps us confirm your booking straightaway.Welcome to Dynomite Farm! Lovely stay in Santa Cruz
We enjoyed our stay at Markus’s lovely property. The property is beautiful and close to many great attractions. We were wanting to stay somewhere in Santa Cruz before leaving WiFi and restaurants for Big Sur. This was the perfect spot! Mark had great recommendations and was great to chat with. We bought some incredible honey as well. Thank you for hosting us, Markus!

Perfect in every aspect
Our GPS through RV Life took us past Markus' house, so we had to retrace our steps. Google maps is spot on. The space available looked quite small, but in fact there was plenty of room for our 24' Itasca Navion AND we were able to put the slide out! The front of the property is very welcoming - clean & tidy with a pretty front yard - yet it really gives little indication of what lies in the backyard!!! An absolute work of art, full of plants and produce of all sorts of shapes and sizes... a delight to the senses! Marcus was a great communicator, very thoughtful and friendly...unfortunately we never had the pleasure of meeting him in person. The location is superb if you're traveling Hwy 1/101 AND convenient to checking out Santa Cruise. We downloaded an audio driving tour from Get Your Guide, and had a little user error at the beginning, but ended up enjoying it and appreciating how much we saw that we would not have otherwise known about... it cost me $4!! We hadn't originally planned to stop in Santa Cruz, but had to have some work done on our RV, which necessitated the stay. Very happy to have found Markus and his little piece of paradise! Would definitely stay again if we come back.

Central for Cruz
Fantastic location; a bike ride away from Capitola and Santa Cruz. Normally when traveling up and down Cali I try to stay at a HarvestHost as I dont need full hook-ups for one night (with onboard power and water) but it was a luxury to have wifi and all the mod cons. Its a little right to back into if you have a camper trailer (normally I don't) and remember to have your sewer cal "lock key" to get the cap off... I didn't!
