San Diego Mountain Lodge is a beautiful escape to nature sprawled out over 40 acres of land on Hideout Mountain, a breathtaking spot in Santa Ysabel, CA. With a combination of offerings ranging from glamping in our vintage camper trailers, RV sites with full hookups, and campsites, to a luxury experience in our remodeled cabins each with a fireplace. Gather and share ideas with fellow guests at our community firepit and picnic tables. What makes Hideout Mountain a magical place? The stunning views of Lake Henshaw and the valley and surrounding mountains, stretching as far as the eye can see. We also have a one-of-a-kind restaurant and bar on the property, Josie's Hideout Saloon. We are located just a few minutes drive away from downtown Santa Ysabel and Julian, with easy access off Hwy 76.

The Scenic Sanctuary RV Site #15
Nice view.
The view from the site was amazing. The site was clean. We tried connecting to the outlet and it didn’t work, I’m not sure if we were doing something wrong, it wasn’t a big deal for us. I want to go back and stay in a cabin.

What a gem 💎
This place is adorable! Just enough off the beaten path to have some peace and quiet, the Teal #1 camper with the lake view is by far the best spot. Private with unobstructed views, camper is lovely with all the amenities you might need and a comfy bed. Bobby the onsite manager was a lifesaver! We had a flat tire and he spent his entire morning helping us get it sorted out. Stay here !!

Adorable Cabin for Perfect Getaway
Came up for 2 nights to celebrate Thanksgiving with my family (4 of us). The cabin is nicely decorated and has a full kitchen. We brought a twin blow up mattress because the futon would have been too small for two and this was perfect. The two full baths made it nice for four people. While we were there the grounds were very quiet. Loved sitting out on the deck in the morning with coffee and listening to the birds. It’s a quick drive to Santa Ysabel for the market or Dudley’s bakery and about 20 min to Julian. We ate dinner one night at Hero’s in Santa Ysabel - delicious pizza and the nicest staff. We also brought our dog which was a plus and there’s an enclosed deck so she could sit out there and watch the critters. I highly recommend staying here, we will definitely be back.

Great Glamp experience
Thank you for a great stay! It had everything we needed with a beautiful view of the lake. Everything was clean and well kept. There was even a space heater in the camper for when it cooled off at night. The only downside was the dog hair on all the cushions around dining room table.
