A great site with plenty of distance from society, well described by the listing! Hope and Colin have very clear instructions on getting there, and the gravel round was very 2WD friendly (even my prius could handle it). Overall a great area and would definitely stay again!

We had a great time! Site T1 was spacious and equipped with a picnic table, and we appreciated it being close to the porta potty. We especially loved the view from the top of the ridge. We’d gladly stay again!

Amazing views and not too difficult to get to the site in a 2wd sedan although some “off-roading” is required. Had a great time.

T4 is above the rest of the campsites and felt very private. Great level space for our 10’ x 10’ Kodiak tent.

Great campsite! The directions to the property were straightforward and the drive was beautiful. We really loved how scenic and quiet the property was, and I highly recommend the group site! We wish there was an animal-proof container for food/coolers/portable stoves so we didn’t have to load everything back into our car at night, but it wasn’t a big issue for us.

We had a great time spending the weekend at SER! It’s a bit of a trek into the woods but that allows for the lovely immersion in nature, and the hosts gave great detailed driving instructions so it was no problem.

My husband and i had a great time camping out here this weekend. We had some new gear to try out and everything went so great! The bugs were crazy but we had a heads up so we were prepared. We had such a great time finding scorpions and we also were thrilled to find some California Newts nearby in the creek. We also found a rattlesnake. We admired from a distance without incident. We heard some pretty wild noises and it was exciting trying to figure out what it could be. We give this place a 10/10 and we will be back!

We had the great plesure to spend 2 nights on sacred earth. And we loved it. It seemed to be out civilization.

Peaceful place for a temporary nest! My girlfriend and I really enjoyed our two nights of camping here. The site was perfect and the toilet + handwashing station couldn't have been any more clean or presentable. We were both really grateful and pleased with the entire experience. Even the neighbors on the long road up were friendly. Would come back if ever in the area.

My son and I loved our stay! We stayed the night of October 11th and didn't encounter any mosquitos at all. You really feel like you're deep in a real natural forest - its not like a typical state park campground. At night we heard noises of animals and birds and breaking branches. It's possible we were hearing the lovely and friendly dog Kayla running around. She visited us when we woke up in the morning and went on a short hike with us. It felt like an adventure getting there. The written directions were great (don't try to use GPS).

It could have been really fun but it was abnormally hot that weekend and the place is not toddler friendly at all. The type of dirt makes everything black right away, which was challenging with young kids playing ball, crawling and falling all the time. The 3 kids were completely covered in black, and with the heat, we were pretty miserable. Also, the dog is pretty cute but stole the kid's ball, my husband's gloves and probably other things that we don't know yet. We left after one night. Not the owner's fault, bad timing with temperature and probably not the easiest place to go camping with young kids.

Tent camping was truly beautiful on Hope and Colin’s property. The ridge view was gorgeous and watching the fog creep over the mountains was unmatched!! The porta potties were super clean and driving directions were PERFECT. Only thing is it was it was very very quiet except for snapping branches at night and got a bit eeerie, but that’s just perspective and being there alone there with another young girlfriend. If that’s your jam this is your spot!! Truly feels like you’re in a forest

Beautiful space. Very quiet and had a really great and restful time. Host was very nice and helpful when we wandered off a bit on a hike. Be sure to pay attention to all the private property signs! Be sure to bring bug spray because there are mosquitoes.

We had a wonderful stay at the Sacred Earth Retreat! The location was beautiful, peaceful, and private. There was no one else nearby. The circle itself was well shaded, but also open and not at all crowded. Having a portapoddy nearby was unexpected and made the trip all the more convenient. We parked at the site and still had plenty of room. I recommend this to anyone and we look forward to our return!

Beautiful, serene spot. Amazing view at the top of the ridge. Peaceful energy. Quite a few mosquitoes but I suppose that's unavoidable. Easy to navigate and good directions. Overall would definitely recommend.

It was tough finding the camp spot and the host didn’t answer my calls, luckily a lady in a truck guided us. The code for the gate was supposed to be texted to us, but when we arrived there was zero service, that made it tricky. The gravel road was long, curvy, bumpy, narrow, and dusty, it was stressful ride in my mini van with bikes on the back. Upon arrival, my vehicle couldn’t make it up the hill, the front wheel drive tires were spinning out. Hope was kind enough to help us unload our bikes and guide us up, I was so glad we made it! But while setting up camp and making dinner we were attacked by swarms of mosquitoes. There was an adorable little dog that was free roaming, my girls loved him but he kept jumping on my 4 year old son who was scared and my son hid in the car and tent from him. The doggie also chewed up my daughter’s shoe that was left outside our tent and he also chewed up our trash bag early in the morning, carrying trash throughout the campsite that wasn’t fun to clean up. Around 10pm a car drove by our camp and I felt worried because I didn’t know who it might be as there didn’t seem to be any other campers, we didn’t see or meet anyone besides Hope. While in our tent, I heard lots of activity in the forest, rustling of trees and snapping of twigs, I was totally scared! I woke up my kids and moved them to the car where we spent the night. In the morning there were millions of mosquitoes again, I packed up so fast!

We enjoyed camping on Site 1, Goddess Circle, with our young kids. The drive into the property is quite rough, especially in the last couple of miles, but the directions are very clear, and it really feels like you have got away from city/suburban life.
We happened to pick Site 1 but we thought it was quite a bit better than the other marked sites. The porta-potty on the campsite was the best we have ever used. You'd be missing out if you didn't hike up to the ridge for the views. Plenty of old growth redwoods for kids to explore. Make sure to bring bug spray because the mosquitoes are vicious.

Great quiet camp grounds. The sleeping pad were flat and comfy with hay for padding. Enough light through the redwoods in the daytime for comfortable sunning. Local towns nearby for great food and treats!

I had a wonderful time camping here! Hope and Colin provided very clear instructions on how to get there, and the campsite was gorgeous. It was very quiet and peaceful, no traffic, just nature. I very highly recommend it
