Truly a little paradise
My friends and I had a wonderful time camping at Rough & Ready Paradise! The site has a beautiful lot of land with soft grass to set up camp and enjoy a night under the stars. There are trees spaced out along their property which was perfect for strapping up our portable hammock to. They also have quite an impressive open house with common spaces filled with plants and peaceful areas to sit and relax. It was nice that we were able to use their shower and bathroom when need be too! We also slept very well thanks to the soothing sound of the little creek nearby. Our experience at Rough & Ready Paradise exceeded our expectations and Dylan was very nice, providing suggestions of where to visit/what to do during our weekend getaway. I will surely be recommending Dylan's Rough & Ready Paradise to friends and family!

The site was beautiful and the amenities were fantastic. Dylan and I had a misunderstanding about my group size, but he was more than accommodating and understanding of facilitating that many people as well as he could.

We had a great stay. Dylan was very understanding and always there to meet our needs.
The place is very dog friendly. Our German Shepherd was having a lot of fun roaming the site freely.

We had such a great time staying here! The house in the property is beautiful. We were able to use the bathroom and a hose to wash the dogs and out camping cookware. The Yuba river is about 30 min from here. If you are looking for a place to camp with friends, look no further.

Paradise in Rough and Ready, Ca.
Dylan and his family were very welcoming, though I did not get to meet Dylan personally. They live in a beautiful and creative house they built where you can use the bathroom and shower and hang out with their dog Domino (or he'll come out to you). The camping aspect is on their lawn which they keep watered even during the summer so it's pretty comfortable to sleep on. There is a lovely little creek to dip your feet in and to lull you to sleep. No fires allowed in summer for obvious reasons, but we were able to grill and sat around the cute fire pit. One thing to note is that there is no picnic table or anything to sit around or do food prep on, I myself brought a folding table for this. Camp chairs were also nice to have around the fire ring since the provided seating are logs and rocks. Address is not marked, they say last house on the left but it looks like the road keeps going, except you'd need a hefty truck to get up that dirt hill, so just stop there, that's the house! Everyone had decent cell service in case you get lost. All in all, a great site. Thanks Dylan!
