Robin's Nest: Airstream & Farm
Everything was great. Place and people were all amazing. We took the tour and really enjoyed it. The only thing that I wasn’t used to from past farms we have stayed at- they usually welcome you to help and interact with the animals if you are staying on property but here they didn’t. For the record, that wasn’t offered in the listing, I kinda just assumed it from past experiences and that was wrong. Overall, great place and great people!!

Robin's Nest: Airstream & Farm
We loved spending time in the Sovereign Airstream! It was a weekend of firsts for my son - first camp fire, first s’more, and first time feeding farm animals! It was a wonderful way to introduce my son to camping in a way that reduced the pressures of the wild on a toddler (and me). Highly recommended! And Kimber was a wonderful host! We did the animal feeding experience, which was a treat and something my son won’t stop talking about. 10/10, will absolutely do again

Phenomenal! My daughter and I visited Robin’s Nest for a girls Glamping weekend and had the best time ever. The Airstream was awesome with everything we needed to stay comfy and cozy including a brand new king size mattress. The property was amazing and we loved being surrounded by the animals (the animal feeding is a MUST). We made good use of all the many amenities and were constantly impressed with the consistently thoughtful attention to detail. Best trip ever, and we cannot wait to come back!

Robin's Nest: Airstream & Farm
Our family absolutely loved the Robin's Nest! A safe and beautiful property for our kids to roam, and the Airstream was perfect in every way! My family and I kept commenting "they thought of everything!" From small touches like complimentary snacks, to clean and tidy spaces with all the appliances, kitchen items, and signage needed, the Airstream was an excellent experience. We also did the Farm Tour add-on with our kids, which was totally worth it - they loved it! They especially loved the tortoises, alpacas, and Bandit the farm cat!
Kimber was a fantastic host, with spot-on communication and service. We would absolutely stay here again if we're in the area. Highly recommend!

We had such a great time in both the Airstream and Little Lucy. Kimber was a great host and made us feel at home. The animals there are amazing and was a great way to start the day walking and seeing the animals. Easy access to the property and would recommend this place!

We loved staying in the airstream! Kimber was a great host. There was no one else staying there so we had the place to ourselves. My kids loved climbing the boulders, feeding the animals, and exploring the area. The airstream had everything we needed and more!

Our whole family enjoyed our time at Kimber's land on the Airstream.
PROs: the feeding the animal experience was super fun, Kimber educated the kids about the animals, their habitat, the rescue process, definitely worth the extra add on, the bed is very comfortable, having a warm shower while glamping is a nice perk, Kimber is EXTREMELY responsive and attends to any issues and answers our questions very quickly (both while preparing for the trip and afterwards)
CONs: the Airstream is very drafty so bring layers to stay warm, the heater in the Airstream is loud and doesn't work very well, you only have access to the hot tub if you stay in the Airstream (as opposed to camping) and it wasn't very hot the first night and didn't heat up at all the second night

Glamping at robins nest was amazing, Kimber and Karin are truly amazing people. I cannot emphasize this enough … the animal experience is a MUST DO experience. Karin the farm manager is so thorough and caring for the animals and helped walk me and my girlfriend through cool info regarding the animals and their care. I am more on the social end so I interacted with the people at the farm and was happy to do so BUT if you’re more of an introvert, they give you ample of space and only interact with you if you seem comfortable with it and won’t approach you unless you approach them which is really lovely. The environment is amazing with a little bit of something for everyone … from a nice stroll to a heavy hike. Additionally, there’s a casino about 16 minutes away which was awesome. I took my longboard too and was soaking up that California sunset. I could keep on going with positives and how great this stay was but I’ll digress and end with , ROBINS NEST IS AWESOME.

Had a great time. The airstream was cool, was nice to walk around and see the animals. The Xmas decorations and lights were still out, but was a nice touch, and festive atmosphere.

This was not a good experience, there is no views as they said, this is really at her back patio the view is the neighbors houses for that kind of money is a ripped off.

What an absolute joy this stay was! From the airstream itself to the expansive property and some of the cutest animals as our neighbors, and not to mention the most welcoming host we’ve had yet, Kimber - everything made for an ultimately cozy stay! We were also pleasantly surprised by the cutest Christmas decor. My bf and I definitely took some precious family photos with our 2 dogs. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a quiet, relaxing getaway where you can fire up the bbq, cozy up next to the fire pit, have hot cocoa while stargazing, or snuggle up in a suuuper comfy bed. This is officially on our list of possible places we might revisit. That’s how much we loved it here! 🥰

Believe all the positive reviews, you will have a great camping experience. Kimber is the kindest host, very responsive and we loved the farm feeding experience. The airstream was clean and had everything we needed and more. The little trailer was perfect for our couple friends. The outside restroom was clean. This was a great place for us to set up camp for a couple of days. Kimber was appropriately communicative and helpful and we were comfortable and happy. Icing on the cake: being able to feed the pigs and having fresh grapefruits in the mornings!

The location was what was expected. Our dogs had a great time being able to run around and enjoyed seeing the animals in their stalls. The utilities are from San Diego Gas & Electric and are notorious for rolling outages. Even going out for an hour pull lots of strain on our trailer AC. If I had thought about it, I would have asked for the 50amp spot which would have helped lots. Close to lots of wineries and an easy drive up I to Julian which we love to visit often. Kimber Che ked in on us and kept us informed about the electric outages which we appreciated.

Kimber was so friendly and helpful the entire time. We had water and electric hook up and a beautiful tree to park under. The animals were adorable and we were even told we could have some grapefruits from the trees!

The farm experience and Airstream made this a great first Hipcamp for our family of four humans and one dog. Kids are 7 and 5. We all loved interacting w the animals up close, helping our awesome host Kimber feed them and learning their stories. We hot tubbed, tent camped, spent the night in the roomy sleeping areas of the Airstream on the rainy night, Netflixed, played tetherball, saved our food scraps for the piggies, climbed rocks, painted rocks and roasted marshmallows. We even popped into town for a great lunch at Marinade on Main (dog-friendly patio). Lots to do and explore.

What a lovely stay we had. Kimber was very hospitable and my young sons loved the feed experience. We drove down to the safari park one day which I highly recommend and it was only about 25 mins to Kimber’s. Lots of hiking and wineries in the area. We used the water and electric hook ups for our trailer with no issues. Hope to make it back again.

We stayed in our 28ft motorhome. We had a semi-private area to park around the corner with a picnic table, water hookup and 110 volt power. (PS. This might not be enough to power your AC unit, as with ours.) There was an outdoor shower we used, a telescope for the starry nights, and a horse riding school next door to watch. Lots of land for us and our cat to explore!
Kimber was so communicative and friendly, and very knowledgeable about her animals. Arriving was super easy and our stay was very comfortable because she checked in on us to make sure we had everything we needed.
Our favorite part was feeding and interacting with the alpacas and other animals! If you stay here, make sure you schedule a time in for that.

We took our 2 year old camping for the first time and the experience was absolutely lovely. Being able to be in a peaceful, outdoor retreat was already a plus. What added a special touch was having Kimber walk our son through feeding the animals in such a kind and patient way and also educating us on the animals and what it takes to maintain the property. It gave me a huge appreciation for the entire experience she was able to curate for us. She’s building something very special.

We had such a great time at Kimber’s place!! Kimber was so incredibly accommodating to us and would always quickly get back to me. I had to film a testimonial for a new grill and she was totally amazing with helping with that.
The farm is so fun and I loved seeing the pigs. Very quiet and peaceful spot. Can’t wait to go back!
