Welcome to the North Fork River. There are six little water slides at the swimming spot. Peaceful and quiet. Listen to the river all day and night. There is shade to stay out of the sun, sand trails to the river. Plenty of places to hang a hammock and relax. 9.2 miles drive to the entrance of Sequoia National Park.Camp heart is next to the river. There is a picnic table close by under a live oak tree to use. There is a portable toilet on site to use. 250sq feet to camp on.

What a beautiful and peaceful spot!! Went for a couple nights and just slept in my car- the sounds of the river at night are so amazing :) Short drive to Sequoia NP for lots of incredible hiking.

Camp Heart
Our stay at Camp Heart was amazing! Mike is an excellent host. He greeted us as we arrived and gave us a tour of his property. He even gave us suggestions for places to visit in the parks nearby. The site is right on the river so you get to enjoy the soothing sounds of the water at night. We will definitely be coming back again!

Camp Heart
Mike was a great host really helpful and friendly, the site was on his land - so he’s around to answer queries. Location is great to get to Seqouia, if you don’t want to spend Sequoia prices. The toilet was clean.

Camp Heart
Camping at Camp Heart was a wonderful experience, and Mike, a great host. We didn't get to enjoy it as much as we would've liked to, but our one-night stop before heading to Sequoia National Park was everything we needed. Sleeping under the stars and immersed in the soothing sounds of the river made our brief adventure a memorable one. We totally recommend this spot if you're looking for a reconnection with nature.

Camp Heart
The site is clearly well loved and has a lot of character and personal touches. It borders a beautiful riverbed and is very convenient to Sequoia NP. However, the site is covered in river sand, and our campervan got stuck overnight and had to be towed out (shout-out to the Valero Bros, who were amazing) for a (understandably) significant price tag. Depending on the season or time of day, might want to consider whether your vehicle is too heavy to navigate through the site. Mike, the host, was responsive and helped refer us to a tow company. No cell service at the site, but if you go onto the road, hold your cellphone up and pray for long enough, there is enough signal to get a call through.
