Five acres in the hills of Silicon Valley — just 5 miles into the mountain passes with zero cell reception (Starlink WiFi available), yet it feels like you're hundreds of miles away. Despite the peaceful seclusion, it’s only a 15-minute drive to Starbucks and local restaurants. Experience pitch-black nights with bright stars, a quiet country road lined with redwoods, a small creek running through the property, and abundant wildlife. Take a walk and feed our friendly Chocolate Orpington chickens and Mini Nubian goats their treats. Enjoy the sounds of the night, or simply find solace from city life just 20 minutes away. Hike up the hills for incredible views of the protected San Jose hills.Site 1 is beautifully located at the entrance of our property and the base of the hiking trail. Under the redwood tree and right next to our six Mini Nubian goat cuties. The goats are oddly quiet for their breed type and you can help us tame them by feeding them provided treats or showing them how friendly us humans can be. There is a folding picnic tables, canopy and chairs provided for hanging out. The property can be hiked through the chicken coop area and beyond for a flat shorter walk through the forest, or up the stairs for a steeper experience and view of the hills and neighboring horses. There are also "antique tractors" on the hill that are really interesting to look at and take pics with but avoid touching and the earth is taking over creating a rusted patina not safe to touch. Moving here is truly an experience as we encounter animals I've only seen here for the first time personally in the wild. Please use caution and enjoy the howls of the night. (foxes, coyotes, wild bore, deer, Elk on occasion, hawk, owls, turkey)
